I am in LFR… LFR! I need on some things I can definitely use, I get nothing of course, I rarely do, but then a player pops up the trade and offers this item I needed on … but says the trade is for 5k gold? When did this become a thing? I think this game is ruined! It is ruined for me.
I am so disappointed that the game has devolved into this! Wow! I keep seeing that group loot is better, no players are fair and get stuff they ‘greeed/transmog’ on … then I get some one who is completely exploiting the system. How many are doing this!? I hate this game now.

Its not exploiting anything…hes simply trying to take advantage of a situation.
Theres a 2 hour trade-lock window. He won the roll, its his piece of gear to do as he pleases.
Look at the 5k as a bonus roll (and 5k is nothing).
Just ignore it and move on, or buy it if you truly want it that badly. I dont really see an issue here?

- Why are you wasting time in lfr for gear when readily available better gear is available to you in basic content.
- Pug world, pug rules. If you don’t like the pug rules then don’t pug plenty of resources exist for you to never have to pug.

Simple fix, revert cross realm gold trading, kills the ability for the a-holes to need a piece of gear then profit off it in this way.

I understand being upset in the moment over this but you are judging the entire player base on the minority who do this. People exploit how the system works for personal gain- welcome to life in general. People are people.
I don’t see how blizzard can make a perfect system to stop this. Because it’s ultimately the player in the end that decides to trade it or not. Blizzard tried to help a little by putting a two hour time on it. After which if it’s not sold it’s not gonna be because it’s bound at that point.

You can get full 464 ilvl as a solo player in Emerald Dream, you don’t even need LFR gear.

I thought even back in Nyalotha the whole gambling gold thing was weird and that carried on into Shadowlands. Whole raid would just be people gambling gold before bosses. I was just sitting there like, “so we’re gambling before we gamble in a game mostly based around RNG.”
So yeah doesn’t surprise me they are doing this.

Mmm… People are people and always have been? What made you think everyone in WoW would adhere to some honor code you came up with but never shared with the group? Organized raid groups do typically have loot rules, but even then they aren’t all the same. In LFR? I’d say anything not against Blizz TOU is fair game, which includes offering to sell something you win the roll on. After all, they could just keep it and vendor it if they chose.
CLARIFICATION: I personally don’t roll need unless I actually need something. Then again, I very rarely bother with LFR. As someone else pointed out, there are easier more efficient ways to gear.
We told the devs this months before the expansion launched and in normal Blizz fashion they ignored us…

They don’t bother because you can get better gear in solo content than you can in LFR. You guys are quick to tell LFR is raiding, yet as soon as something doesn’t go your way, you want special rules in place for it.
And beside, why are you always looking at what whoever won is currently wearing? It always makes you mad. Just stop!

Seriously, dont even try to play elitist. Other then transmog and extreme cases of boredom do I ever step into LFR. Its a raid that suits many just fine. Dont try to play off as your a better class of player or something stupid like that.
