LFR N'zoth

It still happens

LFR heroes would rather sit there and “pad” meters until berserk timer instead of running orbs and actually defeating the boss.

Honestly i see more wipes on Restless Cabal than Uunat.

Switching targets when told to is hard mode in LFR.

OH MY!!!

That is funny and stupid at the same time. Blizzard made it so that bwonsandi picked random people on LFR when he drags people into his death realm during phase 3 of Rastakhan. Yet they couldn’t do something like that for N’zoth?

LFR heroes are hopeless.

The problem is most bosses on LFR can be done with your eyes closed so it creates a culture where you can just go afk and loot reigns from the sky. However blizzard likes to throw a boss into the mix that actually requires LFR heroes to use that piece of organ jelly between their ears. And because of that, you get endless posts of “BOSS IS TOO HARD, PLS NERF!!!” like we have seen in the past. They brought in Determination to act as a soft nerf if you keep failing at a boss. However some bosses like G’huun will never go down regardless of how many stacks you have simply because the only way to exit phase 1 and enter phase 2 (where you actually fight the slug) is to run orbs successfully 3 times. Which majority of LFR players refuse to do because of “meh dps meters”. Sometimes I have to run them as a tank because people just straight up refuse to do it.

In addition, because of that “afk and win” culture, most LFR heroes refuse to look up fights and their dungeon journal entries. Which is sad as there are video guides out there that are made solely for LFR players and they are very quick, ranging from 1-3 minutes. Then they become homer simpsons and say “it’s my first day” as an excuse for their ignorance.

Still to this day I see people in LFR fail to do the bots on Mekkatorque, even though you are given the colour that you need to match. And if you are colour blind, you can use the shape of the image to match it. So if a chicken appears above the bot, you click the button with the chicken on it. And I also doubt that every player who fails at it is colourblind to begin with.

N’zoth is the Ultimate Troll Boss.

This is one of the main things I like about LFR. It’s absolutely hilarious. LFR crucible was the most I’ve laughed in ages.

LFR has its place. I like it for the comic relief personally.

That why we need to get rid LFR for good. It no longer serve any purpose anymore. Everyone who used it just wanted get welfare gears even tho that WQ chest reward gives better ilvl.

The saddest part about this is raiding, even Mythic Raiding, is paint by numbers with a DPS check. It doesn’t hold a candle to what could go wrong in M+ dungeons even with a dedicated group and not pugs.
But you get all these pugs in LFR raids that all have raiderio M+ 15-20 key masters getting more than 5 stacks of determination.
I am convinced they are either trolling outright or that they didn’t bother to watch the 5 minute paint by numbers video that 20+ youtubers and twitch streamers put out, much less take a look at the dungeon journal.

I thought I could handle it. I thought LFR N’zoth was going to be easy. I thought this thread was just hyperbole…

Boy, was I wrong.

Finally get into an LFR of the new wing:
“Okay, they’re at N’zoth. This is good.”
“Okay, they’re at 10 determination stacks. This must have just been a bad run…”
“Okay, I died, but I know where I went wrong. I’ll figure it out.”
“Why are people not doing the mechanics? That was another wipe caused because not enough DPS went back into the Mindscape.”
“Okay, we’ve wiped 6 times. I think this is going to go nowhere…” leaves.

My god. My face had never met the wall so many times. Even LFR Archimonde wasn’t this bad.

Easy? It’s just a quest chain… it was probably never meant to be “challenging”. I think what might turn people away are alts and that it will take 2-3 hours to do. If you work all week you probably don’t want to spend that time on doing a quest chain chore. I’ve done the cloak on all my characters so far.

It’s very nice that they let us skip the scenario parts - these are by far the worst parts beside the travelling from A to B(which is time consuming).

Yea I should have said time consuming.

People don’t do LFR for the story, they do it week after week because they want gear. Everybody knows. If you wanted to see the story there are people that cut together all the cutscenes and dialogue so you can watch it on youtube. Don’t even try to pretend otherwise.

So much fire… I can still smell the smoldering corpses

Keep up the good work, you are almost there.

edit: I am about to dive into it again myself.

Scored a kill just now. What a ride.

I had queued up for LFR this evening, but forgot and joined a world boss group which kicked me out.

I almost wish I’d have requeued and made some popcorn.

Yep,Im betting tomorrow.
