Why don’t people sell LFR N’zoth carries ? It would be better then wait for 10 stacks.

You dont need any stack. You just need a Carry with someone like me.

The work was partially done for you with 6 stacks in, only 4 more to go and your done.

I don’t know why, but my groups seem to have a harder time killing Il’Gynoth than N’Zoth. When the tanks refuse to tank Ilgy away from the raid and half of the people die to the eye, it just just makes me /facepalm.

Even on Heroic, I’ve always felt that N’Zoth was way easier than Il’Gynoth. You can have 10 ranged DPS and you could still have problems with the Touch of the Corrupter. People need to slow/stun! I’ve probably just been getting great tanks, because if they know what they’re doing, N’Zoth is cake.

As someone who progressed on Mythic N’zoth and killed the boss this past weekend after 308 wipes…

LFR N’zoth is harder than Mythic N’zoth. Nobody can change my mind.

I haven’t raided Heroic since MoP, but my experiences from back then are that eventually, yes. Certainly not in the first month, but once your regular raiding group has everything on farm in Heroic, then LFR is definitely more challenging. Getting a group of players who have no experience working together is bad enough. Throw in the fact that a good third of the players are there for the first time ever, and you have a real challenge on your hands.

Only because people are looking for a free ride in LFR Nzoth, were you to try that on heroic you would be bounced out on your butt.

I love the whole fight it feels really epic…

However one time is enough for me… never, EVER again!

And when FINALLY they get it right, 5 or 6 other players that were performing well can’t take anymore and leave… then the new people come and starts all over again… explaining, failing over and over. Cycle repeats.

Not even with full 10 stacks I could beat LFR N’zoth… Cycled through more then 9 tanks and I don’t even know how many dpsers/healers.

The fight is designed in LFR for everyone, no exception, to follow the mechanics closely, and unfortunately this is not something to expect from the LFR. :man_shrugging:

TLDR: N’zoth LFR is harder than N’zoth Heroic for all the wrong reasons, and it should reward a mount! :joy:

Main thing you need is just people doing the fight and not getting mind controlled. Every time people listen and do what needs to be done, hit that button before you reach 30% sanity loss the fight is one and done.

It’s possible, but I think the chances of it happening are extremely low. People just want that easy Echoes of Nya’lotha reward.

Biggest problem with LFR N’zoth, imo, is that it punishes the group when individuals fail mechanics.
Obviously in Normal and up that works, but in LFR it just causes problems.

The 10 stacks of determination don’t make people use the extra action button.
They don’t make people go in the portal.
They don’t focus down a player who gets MC’d.
They don’t make people stand in range of tentacles.

LFR can’t reliably do that many mechanics, anyone remember Nazgrim LFR pre-nerf?

We’re just talking. The original poster was running LFR when he started the thread, so I don’t think he was advocating removing LFR.

Before anyone mentions it, he didn’t ask for a nerf either.

I do it every week, sometimes more than once. I like helping to bring the group together.

I do think that, as a tank, I have a bit of an advantage getting people to listen to me.

I’ve seen that. It’s like, “I can’t be bothered to move around to the far side, let the raid do it.” Or maybe they want to be sure to stay close to the healers. But you’re right, it’s so much easier if the tanks start near the organs they’re going to interrupt, letting the raid start near the first organ they’re going to kill. Then the only issue is getting people to kill the bloods.

Seriously. Anybody that has the slightest bit of skill should go run Normal or Heroic.

LFR is a nightmare.

Biggest problem is new players to that fight dont press that action button and they go insane.

Blizz needs to add flashing neon lights and arrows ----> O <---- and siren horns to say Press this!

Then LFR wouldn’t be so bad xD

unlike most LFR bosses these days this one still requires some coordination. At least in my experience it won’t get cleared til someone takes charge and people follow directions

Sadly getting to that point usually involves a lot of wipes, kicks, and quits until you finally have a group that will do what they’re supposed to

I really appreciate that. I wish there were more like you!

Click your portrait, on the drop down click “Leave Group”. There I saved you. You’re welcome .

I wasn’t around for nazgrim LFR, what was it that that made him bad pre-nerf?
