Mythic WF raiders even made that comparison . It’s why I choose not to submit myself to that. Doesn’t sound fun AT ALL.

Its incredible how you can explain in painful detail to the raid exactly what needs to be done and why multiple times to people in LFR N’zoth, only for people to ignore everything and just die to stupid crap over and over.

How hard is it to press your cloak button to regain Sanity? Pretty hard, apparently.
How hard is it to kill the tentacles instead of tunneling damage into N’zoth while he has his 99% shield up? Pretty hard, apparently.
How hard is it to not stand in the black goop? Pretty hard, apparently.

I swear half the people in LFR N’zoth are poorly-programmed bots. I refuse to believe that real, actual people capable of independent thought and action could be too mindless to achieve the simplest of goals in a fight that has been explained to them in full-length novel form.

It’s an insanely easy fight too, I learned it easily by watching other people:

  • At the start, just shoot the big guy; the tentacles are a trap to confuse you
  • Run away from the other person if a beam connects you, they’re just trying to lower your DPS by chasing you
  • Run whichever direction the pull is pointing; usually N’Zoth just wants a hug
  • Tunnel N’Zoth when the tentacles pop up; don’t worry about the portal, someone else will
  • If you can get your sanity bar to go down fast, N’Zoth will play for you
  • If you can’t, make sure to form a ring around N’Zoth in the last phase to drop buff puddles for the tanks to stand in

I joined a N’zoth group at 4 am.
They had 10 stacks.
They had been at it for 6 hours at that point.

Ladies and gents, don’t do that.
Esp while not sober.
