Yeah…that quote has nothing to do with what you said lol.
dude…its was my EXACT point. that you were saying to remove LFR and make those players use normals…which would then make normals made easier to accomodate those players who cant handle a normal
Seriously? Did you not play when there were max level zones in Vanilla through Wrath that were designed for max level characters?
No, that’s your wild assumption. Normal is easy enough, no reason for it to be nerfed. If anything, LFR being moved to Normal would be better overall.
What a hoot. So then YOUR ‘wild assumption’ then must be that BLIZZARD decided all by their lonesome without ANY input from PLAYERS to make LFR ‘faceroll’
yeah…THATS how this game works
That’s exactly how the vast majority of this game works lol.
in YOUR opinion.
Games have difficulty settings for a reason, believe it or not.
Personally Ive not found a game I cant play on hard mode.
My wife onthe other hand…doesnt like it that way.
Blizzard knows the data. They know if they feel people are having a hard time or not and the game needs to be changed to make it fun instead of exasperating.
for you and others…not for everyone…which is why LFR isnt going anywhere.
LFR in retail is harder than classic raid, LFR is fine
Yeah, it is my opinion. Never said it wasn’t so, thanks? Also, you are correct on Blizzard knowing the data but unfortunately, since we don’t, we can only offer up our views based on what little evidence we have available. They have tweaked LFR multiple times over the years but since you have only been playing since Legion, you haven’t experienced that unfortunately.
Assumption because no single soul on these forums except for devs would know if LFR is or isn’t going anywhere.
no…they dont. IF that joke were the case then blizzard would NEVER ask for input and would NEVER take into account if bosses were being beaten or not.
Theyd do what one of my friends does when we make the mistake of letting him game master…create the kobayashi maru and then laugh when all the players are dead.
no…blizzard is PERPETUALLY fine tuning this game to make it as easy or as hard as it needs to be to accommodate the player base…as any company interested in keeping players would be.
Mmm. I disagree. Their design is similar in difficulty but the classes in Retail are more fast paced and streamlined while Classic is clunky and missing newer abilities. Also I feel that you actually have to do things in Classic Raids opposed to tank and spank boss fights in LFR
Seriously?
Are you joking?
What are you referring to as “end-game”? Hearthglen? EPL? The skettis area in Terrokar that required flying? The netherwing area?
An elite mob in the world isn’t “end-game”. A part of the zone that requires max level isn’t “end-game” either.
What is your definition of end-game? Seems to be exclusively mobs/quests for max level. That isn’t mine.
Otherwise there is a giant difficulty/complexity discrepancy between your version and something like a current mythic raid.
They actually did do it without much player feedback. They have played around with LFR difficulty for years without anyone providing any feedback one way or another. They take into account a lot of feedback but they never really make decisions based around player feedback in it’s entirety.
Buffing 40 man is not doing something , it is doing nothing
They have tweaked LFR multiple times over the years but since you have only been playing since Legion, you haven’t experienced that unfortunately.
Ive seen enough tweaking in this game to irritate me for a life time. I read the latest changes which only managed to irritate me further.
So sorry but Ive seen enough in my widdle two years of playing this game to figure out that they are ENDLESSLY altering crap even when its fine as is.
So as I said…they ARENT just making content and leaving it. They are taking into account whethter PLAYERS are able to play the content or not.
Normals WILL BE made easier, as LFR is, if we remove LFR and force those players into normals.
That doesn’t counter what I’m saying though. You’re talking about the thing you do before the fight even happens and not about the fights themselves
Normals WILL BE made easier, as LFR is, if we remove LFR and force those players into normals.
Assumption since we actually don’t know that. They might, they might not, all depends on whether they actually move it to Normal and whatever data they get out of it.
You arguement is flawed, you saying retail is streamlined, and classic is missing abilty. How do you do something when u have no ability?
They actually did do it without much player feedback. They have played around with LFR difficulty for years without anyone providing any feedback one way or another. They take into account a lot of feedback but they never really make decisions based around player feedback in it’s entirety.
“They take into account a lot of feedback”
Thats all I wanted to hear.
So sorry but Ive seen enough in my widdle two years of playing this game to figure out that they are ENDLESSLY altering crap even when its fine as is.
You have only been playing 2 years? WoW lol, that explains a lot.
