in 2004-2006 the game was better because it was the only Hot and famous game out there, because there was no social media, no youtube no twitch nothing. It was all about playing WoW as a kid 12hrs a day non stop.,
That is what made the game great, and the server community.
Not LFG. not LFR, not whatever garbage reason people these days are giving.
Removing anything wouldn’t bring back 12million subs. the old glory days are gone, the old experience is gone.
Kids are playing Fortnite, the new generation isn’t into MMO games - Old people are gone for good Marriage/life etc - Yet, you are here still thinking about “Hey get rid of LFR and people will re-sub to this game”
Why would I intentionally want the game destroyed? And why do you persist on a belief I have an issue with “casuals”, I play the game casually right now, I’m 8/8M, but not currently on a raid schedule, I log in for Warfronts and I log off. There is nothing wrong with playing the game casually.
I’m not against you doing LFR, but I am against the effect it has on exponential character growth we’re experiencing, which is why I stand by my proposed changes to the system.
He’s not saying that at all. Casuals are good for the game and always have been. He’s mostly talking about ilvl inflation, which is a valid issue as it invalidates all content prior to the patch we are on.
Also name any other RPG where you don’t have to progress and get better as you move on and where you can be handed end game loot by hitting a button and afk’ing. Should ZF, a level 40 dungeon be harder than the current end game raid on any difficulty? Because it currently is.
The devs added the LFR system a long time ago, believing it was good for the game. You make the claim that it is a part of the decline of wow subs (or whatever clarification you want to make). You made the claim, so you need to provide evidence (numbers) to back up your claim. You can’t do that, so instead of admitting that your side has no real evidence apart from the “you can tell there’s a crowd not happy with LFR”, which doesn’t hold up because there’s also a crowd that uses LFR. You can’t just come up with an argument, have no evidence, and then demand the opposing side provide evidence. That’s not how debates work.
There are plenty of logical reasons for why subs have declined listed previously, and those reasons vary from expansion to expansion. Another one of those is the fact that the MMORPG genre has become less and less popular over the years, and that isn’t necessarily the fault of WoW specifically.
This is a forum where we post our opinions. You don’t need proof to have an opinion. You have no proof that LFR makes the game better either.
All we know is that BFA doubled down on the LFR type casual, little to no effort systems like Warfronts, islands, AP and world quests and it’s regarded as one of the worst expansions so far.
Fact is there is an agenda here with these guys wanting to get rid of lfr and of course they will deny it… that is why i posted proof of the connection right away to let blizzard know people are trying to take them for a ride.
I could care less what they think after they get busted.
that’s a pretty weak low blow. Are you saying anyone who does lfr is a freeloader now? I don’t even know what… like really? Your arguements are getting really silly now guy.
That poster cant be saying anyone who does LFR is a freeloader…because they do a lot of LFR themselves. Just check their profile.
So who knows who they are calling ‘freeloader’.
And the ‘entitled’ here are people who say we should pay for a product we arent happy with.
The whole idea is ridiculous actually. If you don’t spend crazy amounts of time listening and dealing with these toxic raiders you are a freeloader? LOL like what in the hell?
I want nothing to do with mythic raiding and seems either does most of the population of wow. Makes sense to me. They do it to themselves and we all know these types of people are WAY worse for wow than lfr is by far.
It’s not really the content is too hard or anything, we simply do not want to hang with you. Take the hint… 98% of wow agrees we don’t like you for obvious reasons.
So who are you calling a freeloader, son?
id like to know because IF your name calling is in reference to someone being an LFR hero, you fit that bill yourself. I saw your profile. Packed to the gills with LFR.
So WHO here are you calling freeloader?
I’m a school teacher. I know the type of people who want LFR gone; I teach their brats Monday thru Friday 07:40 - 14:30. And to be honest… I’ve been at this for so long, that I’ve probably taught them too and thought they were brats.
Wow. Mockery instead of a refutation. Guess you really don’t have an answer to that. Just going to argue that those who can’t devote their entire life to a raiding schedule shouldn’t see the content, huh?
If anything they should add an npc that points out abilities during the fight to at least get people notice what they need to be doing, or at least make it so they have to read the adventure guide on the current boss before they can fight it in LFR.
In LFR the fights only go smoothly if either said wing of the raid has been out for a while, or if someone takes lead and tells everyone what they need to lookout for.
I’d say its the massively high level a item can titanforge that is bad for the game and not the entry level at best difficulty of raiding. I’d say only have it warforge +10 at max. That way you’d still get an upgrade from the next level of raiding.
I raid or raided maybe 2hrs a week through LFG so ya im mocking the poster… They posted it i didnt… It is always a excuse… IGOT A REAL LIFE MAN… so dont people that raid get over yourself
