Dimensius’ Growing Hunger no longer increases beyond 2 in Raid Finder difficulty.
Living Mass now leave behind 3 Excess Mass when defeated in Raid Finder difficulty (was 2).
Living Mass health reduced by 50% in Raid Finder difficulty.
Developers’ notes: The above changes are intended to relax coordination requirements in Raid Finder, as areas of Collective Gravity will be faster and easier to create and will more reliably protect players from Devour.
Voidwarden health reduced by 30% in Raid Finder difficulty.
Duration of Soaring Reshii granted by Umbral Gate increased in all difficulties except Mythic.
Fixed an issue where Druids could not use Flight Form during the flying portion of the Dimensius encounter.
These changes will no doubt make the fight easier. But, I bet some of you hate the idea of simplifying fights. But, guess what LFR is and should be designed as a gateway to raids and shouldn’t act as a real raid.
They need to break their normal rules and just make everyone auto-revive when you hit the final phase in LFR, or at the very minimum make battle res cooldowns reset for everyone at that point.
Too many people refuse to listen to the group when we say to go to the safe spot in phase 2, too many people ignore the purple pool in phase 1, etc.
LFR now has a spectate mode where you can watch active LFR raids without incurring any of the repair cost for hanging with the left of bell curves with whom it is progression.
Bonus feature - There is a filter for groups with X stacks of determination.
LFR should be a good place to learn the basics of the fight.
Not aa place where people are slamming their heads against the wall for 3 hours every week because their group members refuse to learn but they’ve already got every mechanic down.
And before someone says Story Mode, no. You learn absolutely nothing in Story Mode.
Throw in the fact that LFR is super averse to kicking as well. LFR feels like people go out of their way to keep disruptive individuals who die on P1 every time.
There is a legit problem with the way Vote to Kick functions. Sometimes the yes button stays greyed out until the vote fails so kicking players is impossible.
The Excess Mass buff will actually help a lot without nerfing the entire first phase into the ground. In most raids, there’s at least someone who knows to pick those up. This just adds more to the platform to help.
Not sure the Living Mass HP reduction was needed though. They already melt in seconds. I feel the same way about the voidwardens. They weren’t really an issue before. Even if a few players died during phase 2, they were almost always rezzed en masse at the start of the final phase.
Idk. Some helpful changes for sure but also ones I question.
