Shame on no LFR. Was planning to run splits through it in guild to funnel tier before prog but i guess thats potentially not an option now. would have been pretty nice to run 20 guildies and vote kick the 5 pugs since the content is easy enough.
They dont want to invest the resources that involves fixing and make LFR stable for this and future mop. Itās a massive excuse that they are ālisteningā to the feedbackā¦ whoās feedback to begin with? Anyone with two functional braincells knows that not having more things in game leads to less alts and less playtime in general. Itās another raid log expansion all over again. But by all means people that hate LFR celebrate it I guessā¦
Itās that bad how they dont want to invest anything but the bare minimum for main expansions.
This wasnāt due to listening to feedback. This was them trying to alter how LFR worked and creating a buggy and broken mess. At least theyāre not just putting that in in that state.
Butā¦they could just implement it as it was and stop breaking 15 year old systems by āimprovingā them.
While itās true that having more content can lead to increased playtime, itās important to consider the quality of that time. Without LFR, players will have more free time to level alts and participate in real raid content if they choose to do so. This means less time spent in queues or running LFR, allowing for a more focused and rewarding gameplay experience. Additionally, this is Classic, not Retail, so Blizzard isnāt going to add any new ārealā content. Blizzard did state that they are exploring other avenues to implement LFR gear. So you can call that ānew Contentā if you want.
It is not needed in Cata. Bring it back for mop where it serves more of a purpose.
Itās proven correct when you examine the last 20+ years of wow as a whole most of which has lfr
The player gets to choose what is quality play time for them. As usual you want blizzard to force the player to play the way you want them to play. You want to decide for them what is quality play time.
As someone who is playing both SoD and Cata, itās crazy to me that SoD continues to get significantly more development cycles and content than Cataclysm when there is no monetization in that version of the game outside of the subscription. It doesnāt have WoW token, boosts, or MTX and yet Cata Classic continues to get the short end of the stick.
Somehow I feel like the classic devs are much more passionate about SoD and convinced the suits that SoD is worth prioritizing. Theyāve shown that in what theyāve decided to release and when. Cata has gotten basically scraps.
And found new issues. which happens. But yeahā¦this is why you donāt fix what isnāt broken. Or is broken in a known way.
Like I worked on a comm van system in the Marines. It eternally had a red fault line on. For a very good reason. It was a non essential system that effected nothing.
If we fixed, the light went away. Butā¦several other things broke in the process. even the high priced contractor a god on the system said dudesā¦donāt fix this. Its just that simple.
blizzard did fix warrior domination in era sod. by making uber paladins and shamans lol.
