Mostly need more Alliance. A month or so ago games were popping pretty regularly, but now when we do get a game its 10 horde vs 5 or 6 allies. Maybe this problem is across all of WoW now, I dunno. We really need an injection of 4 or 5 coordinated allies to revive that side. There is a pretty active discord and we are trying to schedule times to queue. Check it out if you are interested.

Oh and its pretty easy to get started if you haven’t used your boost already. Most of the gear is outland BoEs and quest items.
Sure but why would any alliance want to be outnumbered and get steam rolled constantly at 59? At least 69 has consistent games with a full alliance team.
Also if there’s enough horde, you should be getting HvH games during this test week.
I ranked 3 characters to rank 11 in the 50-59 bracket, 1 was a fully twinked out warrior.
Needless to say once all the alliance healing rankers left the bracket died. In classic vanilla it wasn’t very fun getting 6k’d by 7 horde ele shaman so most of the alliance quit. You could legit be the worst shaman on the planet but EM cl/es would 1 shot a fully geared twink.
I’ve build a few over the years just to see what I could do.
My first way back when, this character to be specific, was going to be shadow running with my friends sub rogue named Switch. We just wanted to see how insane we could build them at 19. As you can see she didn’t pvp much, once I saw how she performed she became a fancy bank, then one day logged in and due to the XP changes she dinged.
My last was a 59 tankadin. Engineer/armorsmith. She dinged when she killed the fel reaver (and then went on to tank Kara at 68).
When you build a character with 2-3x the usual power, ridiculous crit, heals that can 1-100 someone double+ their level, or survivability of the gods it’s addicting. They’re not all for pvp
Feels like having BIS gear in the lvl 70 bracket but only having to invest a fraction of the time to get it. And don’t pretend that a lvl 70 BIS geared character doesn’t destroy fresh 70’s or 70’s with zero resilience. In fact lvl 70 is even worse than 69. Just wait until you have double war glaive rogues stacking armor penetration.
Always amusing when someone says they ‘don’t understand twinking’ when literally the exact same thing happens at max level…except max level takes 100 times longer.
Working on my 59 and 69 lock but I’m Horde, on Benediction, in guild < Forty Niners >. Yes, they focused on 49s in vanilla/tbc. Had to level my 5 man multibox team to 70 first so I could self gear. Been using it to clear ZG trying to get wrist for lock. Damn thing refuses to drop. My 69 is only 64 atm but as soon as I hit 65 I will be drag it through SL/SH/BM and get all the pieces I need.
As someone that lvls a lot horde and ally evertime I see you on my horde I auto give up and when I’m on ally auto win. Not sure if I feel like that when I play 70.
Edit: 69 bgs imo one of the funniest bgs when no team has twinks on it, some wsg games can even last for over 1hr lol
By this logic I should auto win every BG. I don’t lol, not even close. There’s plenty of horde twinks. Some BG’s I even have 3-4 of them gang bang me all game.
Lvl 70 is same when you fight someone who is genuinely BIS and presses their buttons. Or even just someone with 400+ resil in later phase verse someone with zero resil.
Remember this is only phase 1. The gear gap between lvl 70’s is currently the smallest it will ever be. It only gets larger which each additional phase.
It’s way worse at 70 with the gear disparity. If you get greens from the AH and a few enchants you are competitive with 69 “twinks.” A lot of the BiS is still Naxx and Grand Marshal gear.
I’m not really disagreeing with you. I just never seen you lose a game it’s like when you que you have other twinks with you so if im on horde I just swap to my ally for easy wins. When my toons hit like 68 I’ll try to beat u tho
Exactly. Technically 2 x BIS trinkets for me are from Nax and BWL. I’ll never get those. I’ve seen a bunch of levelers wearing Nax gear. Hell there’s even level 60 twinks that are total beasts.
