LFG tool feedback

This completely. Yes, if I would have queued with all decent people that have reading comprehension capabilitis and speak the same language then I would have not had any issues. The reason RDF was so great is because that just isnt this community.

Yeah if they announced that they would implement RDF at the patch it was delivered in OG Wrath I would walk away a happy man. But that is not what they have said… so no you are wrong sir.

Well, there’s also perhaps the crux of the issue. Dungeon finder was genuinely not so bad when it first launched. I preferred the old LFG tool we had before it, but the convenience was useful. It was a very different community. That community is dead now. And the current one is masquerading in its corpse.

I’d honestly take dungeon finder back if I could also have WoW’s 2004-2010 community back in exchange.

I’d agree. Well, not the part about being happy about it. But it would be perfectly fair, and I wouldn’t complain about it. All I’ve ever expected from Classic was roughly decent parity with the original experience, so I initially did think that we’d have dungeon finder at ICC launch, which I was totally okay with.

I totally agree although I differ in that I would love to have it at launch for simplicities sake… but otherwise it is not going to bother me too much as I have a guild. We are going to be farming heroics as a team with a set schedule each day… literally will not affect me in the slightest for the first few months.

But when that is all said and done… I was really looking forward to leveling brand new characters with those shiny new heirloom pieces through dungeons… and it will not be an enjoyable experience without RDF because of how long it will take to find groups for low level dungeons at that point. I am the guy with so many max level alts I have to, or at least used to have to delete one to make another fresh one.

I think we agree almost completely. #nochanges… except man RDF would have been nice closer to launch just for alting sake. Heck I don’t even care if they offered it for Wrath content, just the OG dungeons.

Seriously blizzard do you have anyone that works on classic actually play and test out the game?

They already changed a lot of things #nochanges has turned into #changesfor$

They need to just roll back to the TBC era tool. It wasn’t elegant by any means, but it was useable.

I’d rather they just port over the retail tool, it’s better and does the job. Still has the, “declined” spam problem though.

Absolutely not. If “RDF” is too retail for WoTLK classic, then so is the actual tool used in retail right now.

The TBC era tool wasn’t great, but it got the job done. It’ll do.

I mean, the people who argue it’s too, “retail” are anti-RDF and generally praising the current LFG tool, which is a shoddy copy of the retail tool.

Most people had to download and use BB to make it at least tolerable, though. I agree though - it worked, so I’d rather have that, since Blizzard ignored all of the feedback throughout the beta testing of it.

Those people are inconsistent, and aren’t worth taking seriously. I’ll tell them the same thing they tell me “If they want the retail LFG tool then retail is that way”

The TBC tool is fine.

Well, that I’ll agree with.

It has its problems, but as you said - it worked.

The quality idea is to add RDF and scrap this in favor for a direct port of the retail LFG tool for things like world bosses and zones and achievement groups and such.
