Fear-mongering is regurgitated so often in here over what most of us see as a legitimate concern. It’s becoming laughable as an attempt to quiet those who want something different from them.

I love the Streisand Effect, I never knew about this addon until people started complaining about it, now I love it.
There will be some. And hell, you might not even have stupid gear need roll demands. But you will be a a minority IMO. I might be wrong tho.
A legit convo that has infinite scroll at it’s disposal for a single thread. Repeat topic threads are spam according to the forum ToU. Legit convo or not this is spam and every single thread on this topic should be deleted or combined into a mega thread.

I just think most healers and tanks don’t have a need to use it. It’s mainly a dps crutch.

Where does the conversation stop after LFG? It doesn’t.
If the add-on has any retail features, I won’t use it. So far as I can see, all in the world it does is help us filter the LFG ads faster to find the people who want to group for the same dungeons we wanna run.
If that is, indeed, all it does…no one will know whether we’re using the addon or not, and it will be such a non-issue that (hopefully) the apoplectic ragers on this mod will a little abashed by their ridiculous behavior over the last two days.
Yes, I saw the video, and frankly the streamer who posted that and the forum poster who brought it to this forum…should be ashamed. It was a lie. That video shows the retail app, not the classic one. It does those auto-invites in the retail LFD system…which is a good thing FOR RETAIL.
The app for Classic has NONE of that functionality and doesn’t automate anything or auto-invite. As long as that is the case, this is nothing but a godsend and will IMPROVE our ability to communicate and build relationships…not “ruin” it.
Think about it like an adult.
How are people getting the addon? The Curse app.
And what do most people do? Update all.
And then tell me why people would want to use this anyway? Who auto-invites people?

If I am allowed to automate and bot chat, then it would seem I am allowed to automate and bot other functions like spell casting, attacks and looting.
Dmg meters are exploits, it lets you skip time reading combat logs.

You literally think 0 people out there will be using the auto-invite version? And I mean literally zero. You’re telling me to grow up when we both know I’m right and that version will be used if it can be used.
Then the next argument is. If we both acknowledge that people CAN use it and that an amount of people greater than zero DO use it, does Blizzard disapprove of this?
If they don’t. That’s it. No need for further discussion and anyone can use any version.
If they do, they need to break that functionality if they actually don’t want it in the game.
