It’s very clear what the word exploit means. Something that goes against what the Devs intended. The Devs and Ion spoke out saying that they made sure to give us a game that specifically didn’t have these Retail problems. LFG has zero place in Classic and it is an outright EXPLOIT!
This exploit needs to be removed ASAP or the launch of this game will be a complete failure. Please Blizzard at the moment of finally having our realization come true don’t let this exploit into the game at launch. I know you can work hard and make sure to see the final result which is a Classic World of Warcraft with no Retail problems.
Our time is now!! Where are you Blizzard!! Stand up and delete this exploit before it’s too late! You already said that it isn’t enough to simply not use it and that it ruins the fabric of the game!!! Stand by your words and tell us that you will be ready to fix these exploits that will only hurt your sub numbers. If people love LFG their sub pays for Retail… they can play there!!
If you think LFG is an addon… You are wrong! It’s an exploit that removes everything that World of Warcraft stands for and it will cause this launch to be massively disappointing!!!

No it isn’t though… Ion said that this ruins the fabric of the game and they made sure to remove these features for Classic. To have a 3rd party add back in something that Blizzard intentionally removed is in fact an Exploit!!!

you know, at best if you manage to get this addon blocked without screwing other addons, people can always use a discord server (like the M+ one), with 1 channel per dungeon.
it’s requiries basically no effort (especially if you have 2 screen) and you can’t do anything about it cause… code cannot change the community.

I personally won’t be using this addon, but from what I can see, it only facilitates the finding of people to fill up your group. How is that exploitative?
If it teleported you to the instance, or if it gave you a buff that would trivialize the content, then I’d REALLY have a problem with it and would agree with you 100%.

Watch the video of Ion talking about how it is an exploit and that they plan on not allowing anything that ruins the fabric of the game like this. Ion also says to simply not use the Addon isn’t enough!! It will still ruin the fabric of the game!!
Anything against what is intended by Blizzard is an exploit.
Wrong it trivializes the intended game play. Which is what an exploit is.
Does this addon really do that though?
Doesn’t teleport you to dungeon, you still have to travel and coordinate with others while inside the dungeon where most of the interaction happens. You know, after forming the group?
I’ve seen some players say that this will hurt the experience out in the world while questing, you will automatically join up with someone and then they will leave when it is done. The thing is, when I was playing the stress test and when I played on servers that shall not be named. Players would do the same thing, we see that we are in the same area. They send me an invite, finish the quest and then they leave after they’re done. Sometimes they stick around, I don’t see how this addon will be any different.

Yes it 100% does!! There is no wiggle room on this. It is 100% breaking the game and what is intended for launch. Blizzard said they would ban all use of game breaking addons as they go into Exploit territory. It goes against what is intended by Blizzard and the experience they are trying to deliver for it’s customers/fans!
It isn’t hard guys, if you enjoy retail which is unplayable go play that. Don’t ruin a great version of World of Warcraft also. Let there be one good game at least without it being a watered down mess.
Classic is the future of WoW don’t ruin it by letting it go the way of Retail before launch with exploit addons.
Just because you flap your arms about protesting how this addon is against everything Classic stands for doesn’t mean you are automatically correct.
Why don’t you state how this addon is game breaking, how it is an exploit, how it will ruin the experience, how it destroys the fabric of Classic WoW? By all means, the floor is yours.

The apathetic fools think doing nothing gets things fixed. The intellectual scholars know discussing serious issues gets things fixed (more servers added, layering having a cooldown now).

sadly its not breaking TOS as there where other LFG addons in the past in fact the way they have their LFG in retail currently is based on a LFG addon that alot of players where using. Most additions to the game are based on addons players where using. So if you dont like it dont use it.
Remember gearscore addon? it gained so much traction they added it into the game LOL
While I agree that the addon doesn’t have a place in Classic, the sheer amount of misinformation and catastrophizing people are indulging in is ridiculous.
