LFG is superior to RDF

You should be in QAnon with that level of conspiracy.

Ughh did you forget you currently in TBC can queue as a dps, continue about your business and out of nowhere you’ll get a group invite or whisper by someone making a group. I know it works, I’m currently playing new alts with the xp buff and while not perfect for all times of the day at peak hours I know it works.

Trololol!!

And lightning sometimes does strike the same place twice. Just as likely.

Great post OP. I agree with everything. LFG is definitely superior to RDF. People just need to give it a go and let go of RDF.

This ONLY happens on my warrior I’m leveling up, and ONLY because they are asking me to tank X dungeon. I hate tanking, so I always turn them down.

I think I have gotten an invite from the current LFG tool in TBC once on my server. People tend to ignore it and use LFG chat.

And then I am frustrated as I have to watch people fight over random stuff to try and get into a pug.

The LFGBB add-on is still better than their “new tool”. The only reason someone will list themselves in it, is to get access to the channel to actually find a group.

I’m not sure if you’re to prove some irony through my words

LFD is completely random people with a random comp and no balance built in. With the current tools it is up to the party leader to decide what is the composition of the group depending on what tools are needed for the dungeon
or you can yolo and just invite 3 warriors and cleave it down.

To say that every person will gatekeep certain classes out of dungeons is straight up false speaking as a tank, I don’t cherry pick the absolute best group up. Sometimes I just invite the first people that whisper me.

I don’t know I am semi happy. I don’t have to watch my server’s gobal troll chat to make/join groups anymore. Even today people were auguring about politics when I was checking it for any dungeon runs.

I don’t NOT like using the chat channel for finding groups and like seeing people in the list instead. It is an ease on my state of mind not having to watch people treat others like dirt just to search for a group or make one.

You’re objectively wrong though. It’s not even a matter of opinion. Your social experience is 100% your own responsibility. It’s not a function of any system.

Blizzard should require voice coms and if you don’t talk within X amount of time, you’re removed from the group. This will be amazing for promoting the “social pillar” aspect of the game.

I wouldn’t mind this at all actually.

I played Overwatch when you couldn’t easily opt out of the teammate voice chat. I pass on the random strangers yelling in my ear.

Why would a random stranger yell in your ear?

Mix required voice chat with random strangers and you are bound to get someone who is looking to just yell into their coms.

Also, now I am thinking of this lol

But think of the socialization pillar it upholds!

No one talks. We’re just trying to get the dungeon done, okay?

Sometimes people want to talk and preserve a community element which LFG does.

RDF, I’ve been sitting in your LFG system for 1 hour and 15 minutes now. Haven’t even gotten a whisper. What are you talking about?
