LFD kick abusers have made the WoW experience miserable for my friend

Yeah this came up when I mentioned doing dungeons with my wife and kid and that we make sure we are a majority so that no problems can really come up and if they do we can handle them.

“Your kid shouldn’t be learning in leveling dungeons! Do Follower dungeons!”

“You’re holding people hostage in a bad group!”

“I wouldn’t do anything if I was in your group. I’d just follow and get credit while not contributing!”

It’s like, bro, calm down, we aren’t bringing a first timer into your 10 key. It’s Dire Maul.

No better than blindly hitting yes on the kick window.

I’m just there to do the dungeons

Not my job to teach you them or how to play your class

If I’m 2 bosses in the dungeon and you’re walking in circles at the entrance still, pretty justified kick

proving you wrong, son, is part of the discussion. cope.

and youre going there right now for wasting my time instead of providing a logical argument to prove your case that the vote kick was DESIGNED to toss fellow gamers out over their transmog choices, lmao

You’ve never proven me wrong. lol. You’re psychotic.

You are willingly wasting your time by posting like a screeching banshee every day here. Don’t complain.

Either way, no amounts of screaming at others will make your perceived problem any more real.

teaching is how people learn.
If someone says “Im new to the game, give me some pointers” and this is your attitude, its YOU who should go play a single player game, not them.

To be fair the only job they have is to have fun while playing the game. So it’s not their job to make sure a leveling dungeon is completed in the time that one member finds suitable.

They may not be entitled to your time but you are also not entitled to their effort.

The arguments all go both ways on this one:

“They shouldn’t join if they can’t keep up.”

Well, sure, and if an activity has the potential to take more time than you have, you shouldn’t join either.

See if people say that, sure Ill tell them where to go

But I don’t see people saying that more often than not, hence my line of

You see, they refuse to deal with logic. They will not acknowledge that a lot of the times we simply cannot know if someone is new. If all we see is a dude walking around not contributing to anything, they’ll get kicked and replaced with someone else that will help in fights.

From the time that the V2K system was implemented, Blizzard has been 100% clear that people are allowed to kick for any reason or for now reason whatsoever. All it takes is for the majority of players in that same group to agree.

If enough agree, the person being kicked is kicked. They also are not told what they were kicked for. So unless that player tries to contact the group, or someone from the group contacts them to say “That was for your transmog!!111!!”, you’d actually never know what the reason was.

You can be as angry as you want that Blizzard doesn’t doesn’t consider this “abuse” but that’s not going to change how their rules work.

We know what it was like before they made the kick system and it was much worse and there was actual abuse back then. It’s why we have the system we do today. Nobody has been able to come up with a better system.

Yea, like new people need to take some level of responsibility over them learning the dungeons and what not

I’m not gunna stand at the entrance and ask people 1 by 1 if they know the dungeon and hope I might find someone to help

I acknowledge this completely and bypass it by making sure I’m in the majority. I don’t consider it “abuse” I just nullify it entirely at every opportunity. People can always just leave if they want but I make sure there won’t be any opportunity for VTK shenanigans most of the time.

If they don’t like the pace, the route, or the people I brought along the door is that way →

ALREADY DEALT WITH ABOVE…READ BEFORE POSTING…THANKS

lmao…

so…everyone…perl here is saying that BLIZZARD SAYS to kick your fellow gamers over their transmogs, playing panda and making a wrong turn.

They didnt make it for ABUSIVE players…no, its for ANY reason…blizzard decided on a Tuesday years back…“HEY, LETS TELL THE PLAYER BASE TO KICK PEOPLE OUT OF GROUP CONTENT FOR STOPPING TO CHECK A MAP”
theres no other way to take perls defense of the VK misuse, lol

When did anyone even imply something like that

Most mentioned people just not participating at all, not spending 10 seconds to look at the map

Bit of a large difference between those 2 scenarios

I’ve found that if you offer advice to people who didn’t ask for it in LFD/LFR, you get flamed more often than not.

They constantly project random lies onto people and then argues in defense for that. They berate, lie, ignores, then moves onto the next person to repeat the screaming again. I’m not sure how they haven’t been banned yet.

Perl there is either being entirely dishonest and knows better…OR Perl wasnt there when the VK was created…OR Perl hasnt read crap from the timeframe.

I did.
And it was CLEAR that it was created to remove problematic players who were ‘holding groups hostage’…as you will see in comments on THIS forum even as recently in the last 12 months if you search for it.

THEY KNOW blizzard created the kick to remove for PROBLEM children in group content. PERL knows that fact.
They also know that…AGAIN…blizzard wont even pay customer service people to do a job, lmao…they AINT gonna pay people to deal with thousands of tickets a week for being wrongly vote kicked…and so ‘for any reason’ is the only route they could take, otherwise they get bombarded with tickets…AGAIN…we ALL know it.

Oh, then have to do it all again when they swap to another character if they think too many people have them on ignore.

Yea that parts funny, ask if anyone needs to know the boss stuff, get told to shut up and pull

Usually by the 515 guy that is only there for mogs in my experience.
