Making me get philosiphical on a video forum, huh? You decided to state this about the existence of a deity. It still does not change the idea that people have debates on facts. If two people argue about whether a deity exists, they’re arguing about a fact, regardless of whether you think it’s unfalsifiable. If people argue about the death to of a historical tragedy, then they’re also arguing about a fact.
And Blizzard allows the players to ask for rule changes.

Nope, I just go to a different line like the self check out. Nothing wrong with them needing to learn, and there’s nothing wrong with me not wanting to be the person they learn with.
Then maybe that’s what you and Lio should be doing.
Present your problems with the rules, and your potential solutions. Then let other people analyze those solutions, to see if they are actually as effective as you think they are, or if people find a way to either bypass them (and therefore render ineffective), or exploit them (and leave us in a worse situation than we have now).
The only change I think is necessary is if the game has automatically flagged your character as AFK, or you’ve been disconnected for 5 consecutive minutes, it only takes 1 persons vote to remove you.
As someone who loves to do (in my opinion) innocent trolling (my s/o says it’s being silly) take what I say with a grain of salt, ha. One example, during a wrath tw I said I had some eye condition (I actually do a bit) but I said I had some phobia of opening them and I hugged the wall on my bear as if I couldn’t see and I kept purposely falling off of a cliff (I did 2x and got kicked, respectfully). I hope I made someone laugh, maybe not depending on the day they’re having but people should be able to kick me or and not deal with it if it isn’t entertaining 
It’s been a minute since I played disc but it’s was one of my top favorite healers to play, even after the rework but not as much - I dps’d to heal ppl - something about atonement. I did some raw healing spells if I messed it up, if I remember right. It’s been a long time since I played one.
Anywho, I’m kinda blank atm. TLDR: people, that includes me ofc

point still stands though. and as such, if blizzard deems that something or some rules need to be changed or clarified, it is at their discretion, whether they listen to us or not. until it is though, their house, their rules.
that includes what constitutes actionable offenses of the vote kick system.
People in this thread and others have given plenty of suggestions about the kick system, not just rule changes, but daily limits on kicks, a reduction in the deserter penalty, etc.
That’s one where it would highly depend on what the value is. Make the limit too low, and if someone gets unlucky, they’ll be forced to leave.
Given that deserter doesn’t apply after the group kills a boss, I don’t think this does anything. Just make it easier for people to leave, and therefore waste the rest of the parties time.
Here are some other ideas:
Once a player has been automatically flagged as AFK, or disconnects, a 5 min timer starts. If the player is not back before that timer is up, it only takes 1 person’s vote to kick them until they are back.
if a group elects to kick someone, the game gives them the option of either finishing with 4, or resetting the instance and replacing the removed player.
yeah, ‘trolling’ is such an abject joke of a ‘violation’. It defines NOTHING and leave the gates wide open for personal bias to abuse both the flag AND the moderation end of it.
trolling and ‘inappropriate’ should be removed entirely. EVERYTHING posted in this forum can fall under one of those if the person just doesnt like what youve said.
I think most WoW players would have just rolled with it and moved on with the run, lol.
As Ive said, we bring ourselves into whatever we do. Misery loves to project misery out into the universe, so of course there will be some miserables who’d kick someone for trying to be a little humorous.
Ive seen that personality sort cussing out and totally demeaning some teenage girl cashier, calling her all kinds of filthy names, for accidently shorting them by seven cents in their change she hand them back.
that sort is better shunned in society so the rest can be civil and treat each other with fairness.
7 cents? Not that more would justify that person treating her that way. Man I wish I woulda been behind the person who treated her that way. I would have chewed them out as lovingly as possible and want to make them feel so smol for treating someone that way

I find ppl who shove their weight around all the time and try to intimidate like that are weak as hell at their core and broken in someway, usually emotionally. Hopefully they heal and stop it
