When the only constant is the player being kicked and if you’re constantly getting kicked you’re doing something majorly wrong. Especially in Lfd.
Most people can tolerate a few mistakes. Glaring ones are why you get kicked.

Let’s put a stick in your wheels here. Either you, or your friend ain’t be honest. A kick takes the majority of a group to happen.
So that means 3 or more players agreed to kick your friend. That friend probably did something weird / dumb. If not game play per say, probably chat wise.
The amount of times I just afk’d in middle of a dungeon just because my (now 3 years old) just begin crying or randomly come seek attention is a pretty crazy amount. And I’m more then certain I ain’t the only one which this happened to.
People, the player base is generally very tolerant unless you go extreme lengths. The only time I’ve been kick was during an LFR and to be honest there’s nothing to cry about it. I understand that it could have looked like I was leeching to some players when I was just distracted with parenting.
OP’s story or friend of OP story just doesn’t add up.
sounds like he was holding up the group because he was bad - no one should be expected to babysit someone learning in there.
They are playing cata classic and I am betting they put the original version of those dungeons in there and you needed people playing to kill stuff in those.
It’s just today’s playerbase is full of ignorant, no patience having idiots.
A me first mentality that seems to be a part of the newer genaration flowing into this game.
I learned most bosses back in TBC days from people who were willing to teach me the fights, even after fails. I didn’t even know how to gear or do proper rotations then when I first started and a friendly Rogue taught me the ropes.
All you have to do is watch trade chat and realize that people don’t want to interact with one another or even care about helping a newbie.
Follower dungeons are a great tool for learning. They do not exist in Cata classic, and they don’t even exist for Cata dungeons in Retail.
A.) It’s not harrassment.
B.) If you got kicked, especially more than once, you probably did something wrong, either in game, or in chat. You don’t normally get kicked for no reason.
you are the part of the problem that he’s complaining about and why WoW has such a toxic community
you immediately the absolute worst intent possible regardless of what OP says or does
How can my friend get better if players are just going to soil their pants after one wipe and evict the healer?
Find a group of friends and learn with them. Don’t go into fights as a healer or tank without knowing mechanics. Read the dungeon journal to learn mechanics.
as tank i just tell them to stop typing and stop trying to kick or ill leave and theyll get sent into another 30 min que as dps for being a dick
That’s not how it works. if you, as a tank, leave a dungeon, the next tank gets rung up and they just keep going.
Now, if you manage to get THEM out of the dungeon, then yes, they will have to wait.
Why, for the love of all gods, do you not read the name of the person that is writting the comment first?
Do you not know Tovi?
Doesn’t matter. Classic got LFG as well. This a normal dungeon, not heroic. If the group couldn’t carry a normal Pinnacle they’re not any better, at all. I’m not oblivious to Cataclysm.

Because their job around this forum seems to be trolling and dramatically insulting everyone.

Here is how you can get better: Watch some vids and learn the dungeons a little before running them. Review the dungeon and boss guides in game - it’s tells you what to look out for.
You will often be playing with people who actually did Cata and know the dungeons really well. They expect you to know them as well.
It’s ok to be new but it’s not ok to run into the dungeon with zero knowledge and expect total strangers to use their play time teach you.
Some people will happily hold your hand and teach you, many won’t.
If only there was a resource out there that one could view quick guides on various bosses for a quick primer on dungeon mechanics. If only you could simply type in “Vortex Pinnacles boss guide” and have a list of helpful videos explaining everything that can be watched again and again. Or even a website that breaks down bosses in detail.
If only…

It astounds me how people will come here with Shocked Pikachu Face over not knowing mechanics because they couldn’t be bothered to open a dungeon journal in the game and read.
People always advise guides, videos and the likes, but they never adress the real issue:
80% of the times it’s about a player who isn’t used to WoW, and movement and reaction is too slow for the level they are trying to play.
If the player is quick, not knowing the game turns into a minor detail he can get out of the way with a quick guide.
If the player is slow, no guide is going to help them.
Practice movement and reaction. Get faster at the game. It will do wonders.
I do feel bad for your friend. But, I have to tell you the truth that pugs are not there to make WOW a better experience for your friend.
Most pugs are not tolerant towards incompetence. So, if your friend wants to practice while pugging, they better have a thick skin, especially for highly scrutinized roles like tanks and healers. If they get criticized or kicked, they should try to just shake it off and move on.
In the long run, however, it will be best if your friends joins a friendly guild and/or a community who will help him to practice and give tips. I believe this will make WOW a lot more fun for them.

If you know what’s coming up, then you already know what you should be doing and being proactive.
How can my friend get better if players are just going to soil their pants after one wipe and evict the healer?
but evidently that just isn’t enough to these toxic MDI wannabes these days.
Can take a guess why they may be getting kicked.
Birds of a feather… or whatever.
If you know what’s coming up, then you already know what you should be doing and being proactive.
Not wrong, but I doubt people who are inexperienced at the game will be at the level of looking out for what’s coming up. More like trying to understand what happened 3 seconds ago.
