LFD Debate

Well I’m here to express thank you to Blizzard on not making this decision lightly and considering players like myself.

I think you’d be surprised at a silent group of players that also agree with me on this.

Just because people are loud on forums, Twitter or whatever. Doesn’t make them the majority by default.

People that play retail play an easy game where everything can be done afk in a main city.

Every single poll across every site is pro LFD, so I’d honestly be quite confident in saying you’re are the minority.

“Easy game”, Classic is easy game.

Are you claiming tbc isnt an easy game? Or that majoriyy of the game cant be done in a main city? Lol

Polls online should never be taken as explicit fact or implication that is the entire communities voice.

Look up Pitbull being sent to Alaska Walmart by 4chan trolls. I’m sure you’d say that Pitbull’s fans really wanted him to go there too huh?

Can you play the entire game afk in a main city in classic like you can in retail?

Pretty sure in retail you can basically queue up the entire games features through UI convenience tools provided.

Except these polls aren’t on 4chan or troll sites, but from passionate people with followings related specifically to the content.

We’re forgetting the only reason to implement lfd. THE PERKY PUG

Oh you naive internet user. You do understand those individuals from my 4chan example didn’t actually do the poll from there at all right?

You didn’t even look up my example.

The point I was making you cannot trust polls that are online, as anyone can exploit and make the results fabricated for their own desired gain.

Only if you play content that amounts to “baby’s first mmo”

The real game you have to go to places (or get summoned) and is much harder than anything in classic so far.

You’re just cynical, it happens. Plus, you don’t like that the polls are against what you want.

Pretty sure youre wrong.

I’m simply pointing out flaws in your logic.

You’re taking polls online at a surface level as facts that is the majority of the community and what they stand for.

Where literally it could be skewed so easily by just 1 single twitch streamer saying, “go to this poll and vote this now.”

I really do hope you understand the problem there. I’m not even trying to be mean, I’m just expressing to you that the decision blizzard makes on anything with Classic has to be carefully decided.

If they landed on not including LFD I view that as a plus cause after that point in wow’s history is when the game play got drastically different with the player base.

Well, the playerbase is already there, adding LFD won’t make it worse, it’ll just make it more bearable.

Knowing you need to do a dungeon for something, or even wanting to do one on a whim is crapshoot. You could spend 2 hours and it amounts to nothing. It’s not fun.

But in theory I can quite literally sit in a main city. Get summoned to the “big boy” raids. I can queue up for raids. I can queue up for dungeons or summoned to mythics. I can also do pvp from that same spot without having to move. Can I not do that or no am I mistaken?

See that’s where your retail mind set is sinking in. “More bearable” as if something about playing the game without convenience is considered cumbersome.

If you’re going down that route, I can sit in Shat right now and never leave and get summoned to the "big boy raids
