Hey guys, long time no see! 
I’m an old hardcore Classic/TBC/WotLK/Cata raider and PvP’er that’s been away since early Cata 2011, but now I’m just looking for an adult/family guild that focuses on Casual-ish PvE and (maybe serious) PvP gameplay. I sincerely just don’t have time to commit to 4+ hour late night raiding right now, which is why I’m barely touching Classic despite the nostalgia. I think I can maybe fit 3 hours tops on weekdays, but weekends are often open minus late night.
For reference, I’m a nearly-middle-aged lead software engineer/manager in Chicago, and by proxy, also an addon dev that used to do custom addons, tweaks, and feature additions as well as hosted guild websites, forums, Mumble servers, etc. Politically I’m very far left so don’t even bother me if you’re the type of people that don’t respect others; I don’t have the patience for that kind of noise. I’ve mostly played in respectful family/adult-only guilds so I am seeking a positive and helpful atmosphere, especially to get me back up to speed. I love talking tech and all things STEM, as well as mentoring in software engineering and all things tech for young adults and those trying to get into the field.
If I sound like a culture fit, can you guys describe your guildmates and what you guys are currently into?
