LF Active, Social Guild with Busy Gchat

Hey there,

I’ve been looking for a guild to call home, but I’m struggling to find the right place for me. I’m hoping that posting here might help me connect with people with similar interests. I’m looking for a guild that:

  1. Gchat, not Discord. I don’t mind Discord being there for voice during raids or group events, but when I’m playing, I’m in game and most of the guilds I’ve joined have dead gchat while Discord is hopping out of world. I certainly understand why people have it and what its benefits are, but just like some people like Classic, I like gchat. Ideally, the best guild for me would rely heavily on gchat and in-game socialization.

  2. Interest in Lore. The right guild would sometimes be discussing lore, story, etc. I’m not really an RP’er, but I do often have a backstory for characters in my head. The game world is fun and exciting to me.

  3. Socializing, in general. A group that enjoys socializing is ideal. Some guilds have delayed my application until they start raiding. I’m not looking for strategic partners for loot. I’m looking to have friendship and socialize. I would love to accomplish things with those friends (delves, transmog runs, raids, whatever) but I’m primarily looking for friends to play the game with, not human npcs to further my goals.

  4. Older players. The ideal guild would have a lot of middle aged or older players, or young people with maturity. Basically, I’ve got a family, a house, a job and the game doesn’t come first. It would be nice to be surrounded by people who understand that.

  5. Fun-loving. It’s weird that I have to include this in a videogame, but I’m mostly looking to have fun and escape into a virtual world. If you stand in the fire, I’m more inclined to laugh than yell at you. I expect the same. I still get tickled when stupid stuff happens, and I would prefer to be around people who don’t view the game as a job. I respect the time of others and don’t try to ruin things, but I also don’t enjoy drama and rage.

  6. If I can find a good home, I’m willing to server hop to see my guildies in world.

I should mention I’m ET and mostly play on evenings and weekends.

Hi everyone! I’m Kiuayoukai, a cheeky Pandaren Resto Shaman, and proud assistant GM of the guild/community Found a Green Quest on Zul’jin.

Our guild has been around since 2018 founded by my husband Jarsha and myself with our visions of being a social/casual and active community regardless of what members are interested in. Our guild’s atmosphere is laid back, and friendly with a little silliness. Guildies are always having a good time with all the content WoW has to offer! We are recruiting new players, returning players, and alts are welcome! Guild is cross faction (Horde and Alliance welcome) and cross server are welcome to join us for The War Within!

We are a laid back social and casual guild for adults who play when they can. We believe that real life comes first, and the game second. We enjoy playing all aspects of the game and are here to help others on their journey in and out of Azeroth. We group up for leveling/timewalking/heroic/mythic dungeons or old content farming for achievements/transmogs/mounts/pets. We offer weekly guild gold raffles, monthly transmog contests, monthly prizes and guild auctions (mounts, pets, transmog, toys, etc). While others enjoy solo play while just chatting. We are looking to bolster our ranks for Normal/Heroic/timewalking raids with goals of AOTC and Glory of Achievements every tier.

Raid days/times:
Heroic: Thursdays/Fridays 7:30pm - 10pm EST
Normal fun/alt night: Saturdays 6pm - 9:30pm EST with an optional transmog run of old raid content!

As long as you’re active, you’re helpful and you’re not rude or offensive to others you would fit in great regardless of what you enjoy doing in the game. Come join us!

My guild is strictly social/ casual, however we are rebuilding and have quiet lulls at time. We utilize both gchat and Discord, I would prefer not sticking to one and ignoring the other, I tend to lean toward the ‘talk in gchat when in game and discord when offline’ kinda vibe, personally. Keeps people connected if they so choose to be.

We have retired from progression content, so that will never be an issue. I still think my guild might be a bit quiet for what you want currently, but feel free to take a look or message me to chat more.

Hey there friend! I represent a small Horde guild that is pretty much what you’re looking for. Our goals as a guild are to build a community, and make friends, inside and outside of WoW. When we tackle content, we do it with the philosophy of having a good time. It’s a video game. It’s supposed to be fun! Right?

I am a casually social adult altoholic. I am looking for a guild that is social that wont push a player to run keys or raid weekly. I enjoy, being social, helping others, leveling tons of alts, mount/mog farming, PVP, and most of all having fun. Anjelica#1603 is my btag. Thanks so much .

Hey Sadryn! Sunday Drivers hits a lot of your points. Gchat is usually pretty active, but sometimes we do get ‘zoned’ in on leveling and whatnot, or just have those random afk’s. But, we use it for chatting, discord is there for ‘extra’. We’d love for you to check us out!

We’re just some old people having fun playing the game. As a guild, we’re having a blast getting into TWW and enjoying the changes it brings to the game. With that - you can join from any server! If you’re older, and looking for a guild where you are more than a gear score and are welcomed in as part of the family - we’d love for you to check us out.

The only pitch we have is that we are here to have FUN! We have started raiding, but it’s all casual and fun. Everyone who is able to walk in the door is welcome, no bench warmers here. There will be death and possibly a lot of getting lost - but we have a blast learning together at whatever pace works best for the guild.

The GM is 55+ and most members are over 40. We’ve all done some liviing and with us, it’s Always real life and family FIRST.

The guild was brand new in May of 2024 and we have grown, but we have no intentions of being so huge that we can’t get to know everyone who logs on and becomes one of us. We strive to bring back the feel that guilds used to have and hope that no one ever feels lost in the crowd with us.

If you’re looking for a hardcore guild with raid teams and being the best and the first, we aren’t that. What we are is a guild of mature adults playing the game for the enjoyment of the game. So many of us have been soured on running with others from the elitism you get in large guilds. You won’t find that here.

New player? We have those!
Returning after a break? We have a bunch of those too! Husband/wife playing together? Yes, we have a few of those too!

We’re a casual leveling guild, cross faction. The guild was founded as Horde, on the connected realms of Azgalor, Axshara, Destromath, Thunderlord, Blood Furnace, Mannoroth and Nazjatar. But now you can join from any realm! Search guild finder for Sunday Drivers and say a little bit about yourself when you request to join. We’re not a fan of cold invites with no idea who we’re inviting. Age or age range in app is a MUST. If you’re joining from Alliance, search for our community also named, Sunday Drivers. Once accepted there, a message in chat will have a guild invite.
