Leveling via Dungeons in Shadowlands

Makes me wonder, though, how alts are allowed to dungeon grind to 60, yet they won’t be crippled by skipping over mandatory progression.

My point is I don’t want a covenant at all.

Well then… Goddess speed to you on that endeavor.

This is a great change. I don’t like being thrown in a new dungeon out of context.

Play our way, or hit the highway :joy:.

It not like it will slow people down any what at max 1 week till they hit max ?

Now I’m even more confused :joy:.

“I’ve already done this before.” type progression if the beta is anything to go by.

There will be 60s by maint tomorrow.

wow questing is boring as heck for a ton of players

not a good feature to keep forcing more questing on players that just want to do the endgame hamster wheel and never had to quest much before

TL:DR - We’re forcing you to do quests since we know you don’t want to.

The fact that it’s mandatory “anyway” doesn’t make it a better point.

This great imo. I like taking in the story the first wat through this kind is like blizzard validating “well thats what we think you should do too”

Does this matter though?

Exp in dungeons on beta was very, very low compared to quests. You can’t really level via them.

Lmao. Was just waiting on someone to play the majority card

Lots of people on here asking if there’s a reason for this.

They want you to play the game like it was designed to be played.

How is it not playing the game to be able to do dungeons at your own pace if you want to? You still have to do the quests anyway.

Well thanks for waiting to the last minute in communication. Something you are very bad @ blizzard.

Perfect change. Exactly how it should be with today’s dungeons. These dungeons usually culminate in the end of the zone’s story line, and they shouldn’t be experienced before you complete the zone’s story line.

This sounds like how FFXIV does things honestly.

It’s kind of fun unlocking more aspects of the game as you play and progress the story. Seems to me it’s working good for FFXIV seeing that it’s one of the top mmo’s.

This is also an mmo, not a lobby game. It seems way too many people have forgotten that. All anyone wants to do is get to level cap as fast as possible and raid. Well, there’s much more to a real mmo than that. I’m really starting to think many would be happier playing a different type of game.

I like this change and hope Blizzard continues to put the RPG back into this mmorpg. That seemed to get lost for a while there.

This is kind of lame.
