Ive recently come back after skipping BFA, and it seems like twinking and exploiting xp-off in BG’s is worse than ever. Nearly half of the games ive played while trying to level alts are completely dominated by 1-2 twinks. At best I can run around avoiding them while not really playing the objectives, and at worst I killed a few seconds after every spawn. Has there been any statement or plan discussed to address this issue? How has this exploit existed for so long? It also seems like the level squish has created a lot of new ways to twink, making the power gap between players even larger.

Welcome to scaling. Looms would be your better advantage if pvp is truly your thing. Leveling is so fast, gear is quickly outgrown. If that’s your first toon or most advanced one, go for pve and work on saving up for looms for future toons so you can properly enjoy leveling pvp 
. I get everyone doesn’t like PVE. Do other task in between (pathfinder achieve.)
There are no “twinks” anymore, they have been placed in their own queue. As far as exploits go, I know of none and I would say I have been pretty familiar with them in the past.
What you are seeing now is: no tuning, broken items that haven’t been scaled yet, players who have capped exp to gather high ilvl items and party synchers. Welcome to the future of WoW.

The sad part is I have full heirlooms with enchants, and I dont stand a chance against twinks with other types of gear. Ill probably just stick to PvE from now on.
Sry to hear about that. It seems to get better at higher levels. Prepatch is a mess with tuning, right now. Hopefully blizz can eventually do better with gear balance between Chromie timelines.
I have fought against people who have xp-off while I am in the regular que a few times in just the last couple days. I dont know if its the same exploit that I saw years ago, but there is one that quite a few people seem to be using. As for gear and scaling, it really does seem to be broken.
i dont mind twinks. its like fighting raid bosses and takes teamwork to kill them. feels great when they topple
People are abusing the XP debuff, and apparently you could get ilvl 50 gear at level 10, but not anymore? A lot of players still seem to have 4 level 50 pieces plus all the double and triple gem dungeon pieces.
Not worth the hassle unless you are planning to stay in a bracket indefinitely…
Combine those two things and it is brutal for everyone else.
People are like crazy exploiting xp on with xp off characters. They have the debuff that xp has been eliminated and can be easily identified. I report them all for cheating, but I don’t think Blizzard even cares. It ruins any fun of PVP when you have someone that just goes around 1 shottng everyone. Just makes me tab out by a flag and watch youtube until it’s over.
you are dead wrong. these people have exp on. they are using the debuff that blizz put in the game to stop power leveling to level slow. i ran into these guys and they are leveling . one was level 12 and now is 17. he will be out of the bracket soon. stop complaining that someone took the time to get gear and is rofl stomping you plebs. its a game that allows you to get gear and pvp. you better get a big stick before you enter the thunder dome.

probably best. I mean its hard to go to the ah, run a few quests, get your legion weapon, min max your gear based on several pvp guides that are available, use enchants available in the game to become better at pvp. definitely run dungeons. no one will hurt you there

Maybe some, but there are quite a few who are using a method to exploit the system. If you say otherwise, you are just spreading fake news to pretend like this isn’t happening to try and shield these people. Directions for this can be easily found on a popular twinking website. 
no different then raiders at max level. idk if you know this but alliance insignias taste like candy corn

To even compare twinks to mythic raiders is laughable.
That is a lower ilvl then the heirloom weapons…
It is… without the relics otherwise it’s much higher.
Much higher? Each relic adds 3 ilvl?
That does not even come close to the ilvl 50 gear.
Can we even get the ilvl 50 gear anymore? I heard it was nerfed.
and just think people were celebrating months ago how fun bgs were and yet here we are lulz

if you don’t like players having better gear suggest you play dota or league. I know it can be frustrating when someone works harder than you at a video game and in real life.
