The main difference will be 60-70 exp per level requirement is lowered. Also, some elites should be non elite.

1-60 will be the same.

1 to 60 will be the exact same.

60 to 70 will be reduced by I think 30%

I’m leveling pretty quickly in the beta. Like I have to pay attention to my quests because if I don’t I will out level them. I’m basically forced to prio quests in level order to get max xp value from them.

Seems pretty fast right now my draenai hunter is 68 and still has 20 to 30 quests in terokkar which means 4 zones for max lvl gold

Plus isle dailies

Prepatch. You still get the exp buff, however the new talents, and some skills given to classes will vastly speed up the leveling pace. You also have the exp needed from 60 to 70 reduced across the board. Still, if you aren’t looking to join a fresh server you lose absolutely nothing working your way to 60 now to get more benefit out of time in Outlands to gather gold and such to prep for Wrath.

Raw XP is better now. But in wrath, 61-70 is slashed along with quest difficulty. Most elites will now be non-elite, meaning solo stomp material. Reputations also work faster. Some quests in general got toned down, such as the 6x 30x nagrand kill quests. Blizzard finally realized (in wrath) that this was a bit excessive and reduced the kills.

Prepatch one million percent prepatch it’s 20% less for every single level across-the-board effectively to my understanding.

for 1-70 you have faster kill speeds thanks to talents.

level 20 slow riding ~5g

level 40 fast riding ~50-60g?

it gets faster in wotlk but not because of xp to level reductions

It starts out around 40% less for lower 60s, and diminishes as you get close to 70. I think 69-70 its only 8-10% less. So it averages out around 30% from 60-70.

Fair enough so basically over all 30% less I mean either way that’s still good

Yep, its a lot faster 60-70 overall so i would still say if you are close to 60 or at 60 wait for pre-patch.

I still kind of wish they would leave it in after a prepatch And have it scaled off of how many ultimate and let people turn it on and off and I’ll actually make it a gameplay feature but you know.

Good, now I can knock out those group quests I never finished cause no one was doing them.

At the bare minimum leave it in place for level 1-70. I get they don’t want us leveling in Northrend too fast, but the buff doesn’t hurt the old zones.

I mean at the very least right like I would even go further and say increase the experience gained through why is thru white or heck reduce the experience necessary from 1 to 70 by 200%

And Increase drops from bosses from one item to 2 per boss In dungeons

Really hope they keep JJ for 1-60/70 at least or just adjust exp for what it gives. Wouldn’t be asking if we had LFD but ye.

We keep it until the launch of Wrath, Sep 26th
