Anyone else planning on doing this?
Going to save most quests for 80 for maximum gold gains. Might do a few dungeons at 78+ to replace a few brutal pieces.

I think my problem with this is that you can’t even click buy on the level 80 pvp gear until you are level 80. So you hit honor cap and then what?
Also you miss out on a ton of gold from questing.

There’s things you can buy with honor to stay below cap.
You actually lose a ton of gold by not doing the quests at 80. It would be faster to spam dungeons but too boring for me.

If you are not looking to raid on release. Sure why not.
You’d be spending forever trying to level through BGs when you could just quest, hit max level, and do dailies/farm later. Really don’t know that you’re being economical about it

But the first thing you said was “maximum gold gains.” I mean sure, if you’d rather PvP to level, I totally get it, it’s just not more efficient in any way

with the option to queue anywhere it makes more sense to quest and pvp queue sometimes when I get the itch.

brutal gear is pretty much better than most gear til 80.

He probably has full brutal Glad gear already, but the gear would not be that good compared to a level 79 twink. There is a pretty easy to obtain level 78 pvp set that would outpace Brutal glad significantly. You also wouldn’t be able to buy the level 80 gear until you hit actually 80 and you’d be honor capped before you even hit 71.
One nice thing about this though is that you could spend the 100s of thousands of honor you get on epic gems for level 80 and sell them.

they disabled xp from BGs aside from AV until realm first race is over. too many bots/rf exploiters
Primary reason is enjoying BGs. Extra gold is icing on the cake.
Why exactly? Leveling from BGs is terrible experience.
The entire point of reliving wraith is to experience wraith. Why would you want to bypass the entire game just to get to end game raids? Seems kinda boring and missing most of the gameplay experience
lol much better than questing in outland when you dont have flying or improved speed. I tried for an hour and it was so slow i couldnt bare anymore. Been doing avs since and its way more fun. I never liked outland, even back in the day. Super ugly maps, annoying mobs, and the quests take 100 years to complete

If your farming gold with quests u sir are not the smartest at all. I make 5k a day easy and play for 1h doing nothing but ah and crafting.
You’re not as a smart as you think you are or you would have deduced the following:
I’d rather level/generate gold doing content I enjoy (BGs > Questing). The idea of crafting makes me want to blow my brains out so why do it at all?
I only need a little gold for cold weather flying, gems and enchants.
