I’m not sure if Classic Era was always like this but I spent about 2 hours and only made it to level 10.
At this rate it would take me a month or more to hit 60, and that’s if I don’t die along the way.
Just my opinion, but I would love to see a Joyous Journey or similar EXP buffs to make the leveling process a bit smoother.
What do you guys think?
It was and still is. There’s no reason to hurry on HC, kick back and enjoy the ride.
Welcome to vanilla, this is the place of ppl who loves to level more than doing end game content. HC is perfect for that

Tbh if you can find some low level mobs to kill it would be faster to 10 usually.
Well the whole point of HC is the end game, the raids are the most fun part of vanilla.
It just feels bad since leveling is such a slog.
Hardcore is literally about the journey. It’s so clear this mode is not for majority of you, and these threads are a joke.
I think Classic Era is about the journey. The game gets easier and leveling takes a backseat as expansions are introduced, which is (at least in my opinion) a major part of what separates Classic from Retail, and why people like Classic Era to begin with.
No need to gatekeep, I hit 60 with the original SSF rule set that made this game mode possible in the first place so my goals are different than yours.
Raiding in HC takes far more skill than leveling.
Leveling is the content in classic.
Yeah… 0-1 mechanic bosses are what draws people in… Smh

And doing the same quests you’ve seen and done multiple times is somehow the draw?
HC got popular because of end game, the leveling is just memes.

Speak for yourself. For me leveling was always best part of classic, there isn’t all that much to do on max level but raid log or farm gold.

This is why folks prefer end game raids, there’s more variety and skill involved.

I level slower than turtle lovin’ and 1-10 takes me about an hour and ten minutes. Sometimes a little less.
Not sure if this is a troll post or what, but I’d rather they delete the servers than add xp buffs.
