You know what, i would be fine with that, infact, that’s actually better then my suggestion.
The problem?.. Somebody will say “This will take resources away and—” Etc, etc, etc, pretty much just shooting it down because they assumed Blizzard wouldn’t want to make it… not realizing ANY of the suggestions would assume Blizzard would want to do them in the first place.
No thank you. I love that I can level a toon from 1-70 in a few hours. I go log into classic and I hate it. I also really only care about the endgame, so I am biased.
All this would do is make people quit…Classic servers already exist and even there, they put out leveling buffs from time to time so people will level alts.
Leveling hasn’t really been relevant since the game was new, and shiny. They would have to make a brand new game or do another revamp to make it somewhat interesting again. The been there and done that a gazillion times thing. Killing zebras in the Barrens for rng hooves for the 10th time is not exactly exciting or new. And making them harder to kill won’t change that. Some posters suggested a difficulty slider which isn’t a bad idea imo for the folks who are into punishing themselves lol. Got my nostalgia fix for old time leveling playing classic for a couple weeks. Don’t miss it one bit.
I think if you already have one toon at 70, any new character you start should have the option to begin at level 10. I always play healers and I prefer to dungeon queue my way to 70.
Leveling is pretty boring, and imo, should be quicker.
