Why not just make the leveling experience a bit more difficult? It’s so easy to the point that it feels pointless. All the scaling makes everything feel like a big blob. Something closer to the Classic leveling experience with something like the Dragonflight end game would be better.
Why would you want the monotonous leveling that takes forever, isn’t fun or enjoyable for people that have done it 5+ times, over a bit of quick leveling to get to the things you actually want/need to do in game? This feels like it should be a Sunday post, not Tuesday.
It’s already far from a game were leveling matters.
In old school MMOs where cap level was more of an achievement, sure. But WoW was in a half way place… And I think it’s just better to make it easy so you could get to the actual addictive content.
Some people here seem to think its not the leveling sucked, it was say elwynn was boring.
I lke legion. If legion started off like a classic/era leveling start…I’d hate it too. Feral druid weapon quest would be unplayable. Most of that is 4 on 1 fights. Lots of demons, lots of night fallen then lots of spiders. just to get to the dude.
I like elwynn actually. It has an awesome theme music track. its fearing 2 murlocks that sucks.
This but unironically. People complain about underperformers being completely clueless and not knowing how to play, yet you can get from 1-70 by spamming arcane missiles as an arcane mage no problem.
Do I think leveling should be harder than a +10? No, absolutely not, but it should take at least more than 1% of your brainpower.
