I just leveled 1-80 not too long ago. With the XP buff, it was actually highly enjoyable. If you have leveled 1-80 on Skyfury, why not make that a condition that allows a player to boost an alt? I am interested in playing other classes, but the idea of level 1-80, again, and this time without the XP buff is…vomit inducing. Any chance something like this could be added to reduce the friction experienced by the player on these fresh servers?
Eventually you will be able to boost toons there. I forget how long they said you have to wait though.
In a couple of months, I believe. But why? If you have done this 1-80, open it up now. Let people play the game.
Because it’s a fresh realm and that’s how it works. I don’t think they were very unclear about how that all was going to go down.

I am not saying they were unclear. I am suggesting that this could be better. At least bring back the XP buff, or make flight paths account wide…something.
Two things that I enjoy about fresh servers:
Knowing that players leveled up their characters on their own.
Watching you all ask for changes about the rules that you were happy about 60 days ago.

Considering no NPCs and zones are contested compared to launch, and the 20% from herilooms works 70-80 versus the 50% that worked from 1-70, as well as being able to have epic flying in northrend at 70, the time it takes on Skyfury is actually roughly the same to level
It isn’t like I signed a paper in blood that I wanted no changes to the initially-discussed concept of how the realm would operate. I think allowing boosts to exist for players that already have an 80 on a fresh realm makes perfect sense and doesn’t violate the logic behind the initial block of boosts themselves.
You didnt need to sign anything, you went to a server with rules in place. The crazier part is, none of them had actual timelines, and it’s Blizzard.
You could be waiting the rest of your life! Conversely, they could open it up today. I mean look at how quickly transfers opened up. It’s the Wild West out there.
No one saw this coming. 
Edit: I hope you get what you want. Honestly, fresh was dead on arrival, rules were broken immediately. You should be able to enjoy yourself on any server, regardless if it is fresh or not.

Interesting take. Not sure why anyone would think that way, but here you are…
Anyone have any news on when they will allow boosts on skyfury? Before I get trolled to death, I understand some people dont like the boosts. Understood. But I leveled 2 toons to 65 and 66 on angerforge, and now it is a dead server. I have a lvl 60 already on skyfury but I would like to use my boost on an alt later on.

Nov. 28/29th is the 90 day mark.
Doesn’t mean boosts will be allowed then but that is the 90 day mark of server life.

Should just open now. But with a condition: If you have a level 80 character on a fresh realm, you can purchase a boost
