Can’t change facts just because you disagree with it.
Clever way to get it done, but I would never play that way.
To me, it’s about the journey with friends, not the destination.
I think it’s a stretch to call layering a ‘game’ mechanic in an effort to defend it being exploited.
He was perma banned actually. He also hacked the system to get 6 people into a five man to power level him to. Got canned, made a big stink about it, lost all of his followers, tried to make.a.come back, got laughed out. Got caught using a private server, server shut down.
He nevered learned
Waahhh, He’s a higher level than me.
Waahhh
WF was 15 years ago.
Whatever this weeb’s doin’ it’s not WF 60.
WF delusion of WF 60 maybe?
Or you could stop worrying about others?
classic =/ vanilla but I am still having fun.
Hahah dude, no it’s totally not. All it takes is some help, time and an aoe class.
dangit boomer get off the keyboard
The first person to hit 60 in classic, a game that’s been solved and now can be played with 100% stable internet connections, is totally different from the first person to hit 60 in the base game.
He’s accomplishing more than you in a video game and it makes you salty despite the fact that it doesn’t matter in the slightest. Now that’s funny!
And what TOS clause, pray tell, do you assert he’s breaking in order TO be banned?
If true he should get a ban, since that’s actually against TOS
It’s not a strict ToS issue as far as I know, but an example where something similar happened was, in Lich king there was a warlock I believe with a healer buddy and the bears in grizzly hills kept respawning at an absurd rate and he dinged 80 before anyone else because of it and he was reset and temp banned I believe.
Then there was the people who used this one repeatable quest to turn in food (I can’t remember which expansion.) to hit level cap with like 3 hours after launched and I believe they were all reset and temp banned as well.
It’s not strictly in the TOS, but, taking advantage of crazy spawn times has been hit before, and they may look at taking advantage of layers the same way.
Hahaha dude no it doesn’t. Hunters are over 50 right now solo questing (I think the highest is 54 or 55), and I know for a fact that a few of them developed their own routes and in some cases even their own addons to do it. No help, they’re too high above everyone for help and no aoe.
This is what you said:
“The game knowledge and mechanical ability required to be over level 50 at this point in time is exponentially higher than what the average player has. It takes years, if not a decade+ of practice and cumulative experience”
Then you contradict yourself saying people are 50 solo.
I’m saying they all have way more mechanical skill and way more game knowledge than 99.99% of the wow playing population. Whether you’re aoe leveling or solo questing, if you’re at that level right now you’re a better player than the extreme vast majority of players.
There’s no magic formula, or “oh all I’d need to be at that level is questie” or “if I no lifed the game like them id be there”, they are just bar none better, more efficient players.
I’ll say it again, those players are just better at the game than you.
Except they aren’t. I could be at that level too if I dedicated myself this week to doing it. I know what quest paths to take that are most efficient for time. Leveling doesn’t take a whole lot of skill.
Except you more than likely wouldn’t be, but ok whatever makes you feel better.
Think whatever you like snowflake, you’re still wrong.
