Hello i have just got into WoW and am enjoying myself so far. I bought my first 30 days of game time and read i can level to 50 but then i had couple friends tell me i can level to 60 now so was just wondering if someone can tell me what one is right and what i can level to. thank you
Both are right, but it depends on what you have. The level cap for the standard game is 50. In order to reach level 60 you’d need to purchase our most recent expansion: Shadowlands.

If you just got the base game, the level cap is level 50. You’ll need to purchase the expansion Shadowlands to bump the level cap to 60

Thank you so much. sadly they don’t play anymore but they said they read somewhere about leveling to 60 but didn’t know how it worked. also thank you you for link that will be very helpful
