Level boost was 96 hours ago, I still can't use character transfer service

I’ve already opened a ticket about this issue, I’ve gotten 3-4 responses on the same ticket from 3-4 different “GM’s” who are not helpful whatsoever and are giving me the same copy pasta response.

According to my transaction history, and I’m sure somehow this is gonna get myth-busted, but according to my transaction history, I purchased and used a level boost on my rogue on July 15th, 03:15am in my time zone.

It is current July 20th at 00:14am in my time zone. Not only is this well beyond the 72hr cooldown between services, I even believe that regardless of time zone differences it’s still 72 hours because july 15th to july 20th is at least a total of four days, nearing five days.

I’ve already confirmed that I have no active auctions, deleted and emptied my mailbox and I am not in a guild. I am level 85. I am under the gold limit as well. For whichever customer service rep will review and hopefully reply to this, I am talking about my character ‘Beamerr-Arugal’ a level 85 rogue on Cataclysm/MoP Classic. I am on an extremely dead alliance realm on OCE with a horrible economy, and I am desperately trying to transfer my character to a far more popular alliance realm before MoP releases…but it’s looking like I’d have to get extremely lucky by some miracle for that to happen.

The GM’s just kept giving the same copy paste answers “Oh rest assured after the 72 hour cooldown period you will be able to use it. On our end, we do not see any restriction on your account preventing you from using it. Please wait until the 72 hour cooldown period has finished” Like okay…thanks for repeating the same thing 3-4 times now, but it’s well past the 72 hour cooldown period. I also asked each of them, each time to verify and tell me “Exact date/time/time zone” for when my level boost was used, and when exactly 72 hours would be so that I could actually use it, ignored every single time thus making me re-open the ticket a total of five times now.

I’ve already tried exiting the game, logging out of battle.net and closing the app, clearing my internet cache and cookies on my browser and even in the battle.net app, then logging in again and try again. Nothing is working. When I select my character to use the character transfer, it has me select a realm, I click next, then it gives me some warning like “Are you sure you want to do this” and I click accept, it does a loading icon for like 3 seconds then my character disappears for a half second and refreshes itself and re-appears again, then nothing happens.

Just to check, because there are other cooldowns and restrictions on transfers besides the 72 hour boost cooldown. Since this appears to be a wow progression character (?), I think the same restrictions on unlearned pets and heirlooms apply. Is there an error you are receiving when trying?

You know what, I did have a couple caged pets in my bags yes so I just learned them right now to my pet collection and the transfer finally did start processing.

The frustrating part is, that no there was never an error which is probably what caused my confusion and frustration, previously it was just nothing happening…I felt like I was being gaslit lol.

Question, because obviously you’re trying to transfer off Arugal, which is a PVP Server if I remember correctly, are you trying to transfer off a PVP Server?

EDIT: Nevermind, Just read your last reply.

Yes Arugal is a pvp realm, but my destination realm is benediction which is a pvp realm as well.

It’s all good though, it was in fact the caged pets in my inventory that were the culprit. The confusion and frustration I kinda explained in my reply above, I was never receiving an error for it. The transfer service is processing now though without issue.

Sorry for the frustration, Beamerr. I think a lot of folks forget about the various restrictions that are in place, including having a pet/caged pet in your inventory, even Game Masters.

Glad that Kozzae was able to help figure out that one and you were able to initiate your transfer.
