Level 90 Boosts When?

When can we expect the level 90 boosts in the store? MOP leveling for my main was torture.

when WoD Classic pre-patch comes out

Bro, it wasn’t that bad. The worst problem with younger generations is the constant desire for instant gratitude. I’m leveling my 3rd alt right now and enjoying it. You’ll get another toon to 90 and be bored in a few days.

Yuck… The raids were fun but that was it.

You don’t need multiple 90s to do those things.

Then what difference is it if you take 6 months to get to 90 on your own time?

Originally level 90 boost came way into SoO out. Just before the prepatch.

That said, they are nerfing the xp requirements in Phase 2/5.5.1. You will be fine.

Good news is 65% XP boost is coming in patch 5.1 which is on the PTR right now.

They should add it now!

Adding the level 90 boost to Mists of Pandaria Classic would significantly lower the barrier of entry for returning or new players who want to experience the expansion without investing weeks of grinding. Many players today are interested in nostalgia but lack the time to level from scratch, especially since the modern WoW audience often has jobs, families, or other commitments. By providing an immediate level 90 option, Blizzard can make the content more accessible and appealing, encouraging more people to log in and experience the iconic raids, dungeons, and storylines of Mists without the tedious leveling process.

Furthermore, a level 90 boost would help unify the playerbase and revitalize group content. Classic expansions can suffer from population fragmentation, where players are stuck at different levels and unable to efficiently form dungeon or raid groups. With a level 90 boost, more players could immediately participate in endgame content, reducing queue times and enhancing the social and cooperative aspects of the game. This would also make it easier for veteran players to bring friends or guildmates into Mists content, creating a stronger, more active community.

Finally, adding a level 90 boost now is a proactive move to sustain long-term engagement. Many players are drawn to leveling for the sense of progression, but for some, the slower pace of Classic leveling may feel outdated compared to modern expansions. By giving the boost option, Blizzard caters to both types of players—those who love the journey and those who want the destination—and ultimately keeps more people invested in the game. It’s a way to respect player time while preserving the integrity of Mists of Pandaria Classic’s rich endgame content.

seriously? weeks of grinding? even IF it took that long, clearly that would be the experience of the expansion.

we don’t need the retail tourists. you wouldn’t stay longer than one lockout if you got your instant 90s and the next ask would be full reps & full heroic raid ready gear with the boosts. shoo content locust!

While it’s true that part of Mists of Pandaria’s identity comes from the leveling experience, the 85–90 stretch is disproportionately long and punishing compared to the rest of the expansion. Even veteran players can attest that this final stretch feels more like a chore than a rewarding journey, often requiring dozens of dungeon runs or repeated quest chains just to reach max level. Allowing a level 90 boost doesn’t remove the core expansion experience—it simply lets players reach the content they came to enjoy without the repetitive slog, which is especially important for returning players or those balancing limited playtime. The boost preserves the world, story, and endgame while removing unnecessary frustration, making the experience more accessible without diluting the expansion’s identity.

Additionally, the claim that instant 90s would turn players into “content locusts” overlooks the reality of player behavior. Many returning or new players aren’t looking to breeze through everything immediately—they want to experience dungeons, raids, and storylines at their own pace. By giving the option for a boost, Blizzard caters to both types of players: those who want to grind and those who want to experience the endgame. The boost doesn’t force anyone to skip content; it simply reduces the barrier to entry, unifying the playerbase and ensuring dungeons, raids, and PvP remain populated and active. It’s not about catering to “tourists,” it’s about keeping the community alive and engaged.

That’s a lot of words to say hardly anything. I’m guessing you play like you post - putting more effort into busywork than actually doing what needs done. So maybe YOU wouldn’t be a content locust, but 99.9% of would be boosters would.

Indeed, I am basing it off of player behavior, not some ideal that “it’s an MMO and you have to slog through leveling to get to end game content.” I see the way people are playing. I’ve been doing this since 2019. The comparison between MoP now and all of the previous classic iterations is how it’s so much faster and easier than it was then. And here you come asking for instant gratification to skip to dungeons & raids. For real, you will be done gearing to full BiS in short order just doing that. No longer do we slog through normals for weeks and then scratch into heroics. Just about everyone is doing at least a couple heroic bosses by week 2, if not week 1. On top of that, Blizzard has made a lot of adjustments so the grindy features of OG MoP aren’t there from the beginning. The game is in an amazing state right now. No one has to no-life to progress. All the “dads with 2 jobs and 10 kids” can progress with everyone else in a night or two a week. There is no barrier to entry, we’re in patch 1 and the expansion just released.

Additionally, bypassing questing you miss the vast majority of the storyline that sets you up for the whole xpac. Not to mention getting you already started in raising reps so you can actually purchase things right away. On top of that, grinding dungeons is the least efficient way to hit max. Some people may not enjoy the checklists that quests are, but the questing designed in MoP is smooth and doesn’t repeat the same mobs & areas over and over; you get 3-4 quests and then it moves you to a new area. Running the dungeons over and over is just stupid xp/hr and the monkey runs only work for the first couple of levels, maybe just to 86.

None of what you requested would keep the community alive and engaged. There’s very little engagement and pretty much when we all do the dungeons we hop in, buff up, and follow the tank to his first stopping point where we all aoe everything down. After 10 minutes of this, we queue again or spend our currencies. You would have to stretch to find a sign of life or engagement.

Yeah, makes sense. At least the other AI posters aren’t as needlessly wordy lol.

I wouldn’t say “instant gratitude” but more “instant gratification”.

These new gens are all about “now now now” instead of enjoying the intensifying dopamine rush as you level and experience things. Now people pay money for an artificial rush and it’s just not the same.

Getting from level 85 to 90 taking months is simply too long and ends up being bad gameplay because it turns progression into a tedious chore rather than a rewarding experience. Leveling should feel like a journey that builds excitement for endgame, not a grind that drags players down and burns them out before they even get there. When the pace is stretched out to the point of months, the content loses its sense of flow and momentum, and players are left repeating the same quests and zones far beyond the point of enjoyment. Instead of feeling motivated, people feel trapped, and that kind of drawn-out progression doesn’t create satisfaction—it creates frustration and drives players away.

I’d correct you more, but until the Classic Devs are replaced by AI, there’s no concern from foolish opinions of other AI.
er sorry, your opinions

That tracks though, horde from benediction, lolol. Wouldn’t be anything else but a bot.

Yup. Autocorrect somehow got me. I once emailed one of my employees “I apologize for the incontinence” instead of inconvenience.

You’re right it isn’t but people are still going to want to do it faster if they can.

Even the fastest, most dedicated player in Mists of Pandaria Classic faces a grueling journey to reach level 90, a process that can take months of consistent effort. The expansion’s experience curves are deliberately designed to be gradual, with quests, dailies, and dungeons all contributing to a steady, time-consuming progression. Even rushing through content efficiently still requires careful planning, repeated dungeon runs, and attention to reputation grinds and exploration, making it impossible to “speedrun” to max level in a matter of days. The grind-heavy nature of MoP Classic is a test of patience and persistence, rewarding those willing to commit long-term rather than instant gratification.
