Level 80 Scaling in Dragonflight content is awful

As an 80 I went to try to tank a dungeon for a friend and had less hp than everyone in the group. I was getting one shot by the mobs LOL…

Same … my ice barrier must have got nerfed because I can’t tank dungeons for squat anymore. I don’t get it …this xpac STINKS

yeah i did the undead heritage questline and was surprised that everything scaled with me, those mobs were tougher than anything in the tww open world

I cannot even use some of my core abilities on my class because its grey’d out… it definitely needs some work.

level 80 already? damn. my hunter did all the story quests and a good chunk of side quests and is struggling to push through 79…

The good thing for now is 80s won’t have any fun party syncing into 70s BGs. We can only hope it stays that way.

Dang thats weird. I’m almost 78 and I JUST started the 2nd zone lol.

Is this using that weird level sync system that they abandoned pretty much as soon as they implemented it? It’s probably just giving you ‘default’ stuff for DF levels, meanwhile everyone who’s still actually playing DF is geared well beyond that. You may as well be an NPC follower lol

All I can say is level 80 scaled down to play with a new player is a terrible experience. You literally have times where you just have to auto attack since so many buttons are unavailable.

Or would you prefer XP to be zeroed because you would trivialize the fights otherwise?

Same here but not quite 80. I tried a Mythic+2 Dungeon, I was 73 and the rest were 70. I was getting 2 shot by every mob even though my gear is 490+ (and the recommended was 480) AND one of the DPS was over 510… @Blizzard, this needs to be addressed ASAP… I am losing my stones and can’t do Mythic+… :frowning: #blizzard #blizzardSupport Bug Report Technical Support Customer Support Season of Discovery

Yeah on one of my characters that reached level 80 scaling is bad and I think bugged.
I’m getting annihilated in PVE. It’s almost as if need to lock level at 70 or something to have any semblance of fun. Limited fun is better than no fun, for example. Just really backwards and leaves bad taste in the mouth.

Healers seems to be nerfed or bugged, like I was doing DPS and had to use my healing abilities to help the healer heal everyone.
