mage tower for a lot of the classes were really easy. And not only that but, you could outgear the mage tower since it came out two tiers before the end of the expansion. If you did the mage tower during tomb of sargeras then it was pretty hard. I’d say some were harder than visions, some were easier.
If you did the mage tower during the end of the expansion… then it was a lot easier than current visions.
you seem to have unlocked your mage tower stuff a month before BFA came out… which was literally the easiest time to complete it.

you dont do hard content. you never have… you tear down the content because you cant do it.
ps… most people that enjoyed the mage tower when it came out are the ones pushing 5 mask solo runs in visions so yea… you’re wrong again.

mage tower was watch a 2 min video and yolo a predictable boss with thrash and luffa… it was pretty cheese
Way less cheese than running mythic plus to get ilvl and cleaving down mobs in a vision. Especially the healing and tank ones.
I personally found harder doing a full run with 5 masks than mage tower, surprised you got your 5 mask full run achiev eas… oh wait you dont even know what masks are LULW.

As someone who started playing WoW very late legion (like, during Antorus) and didn’t do the mage tower, I’m not able to properly answer this question. However, what I CAN say is that the visions are the first thing I’ve found challenging this xpac in terms of PvE content aside from maybe m+ content above 15, and that’s really only difficult in the situation that you have a group that doesn’t know how to rotate interrupts/stuns. I’m only an AOTC raider because of my availability (can’t raid before midnight each night, so finding a guild to suit that alone was difficult), but even that’s a joke and I’m having to carry my guildies by covering up their mistakes with ridiculous healing for a 15man group.
Anyway, regardless of all of that, visions ARE actual challenging content if you make them that way. I just did a full clear the other day as a heal spec. It took me a few tries, but on the attempt to get my last 2 pages for r10 I managed to do it. It was a LOT of fun, incredibly fulfilling, and gave me bragging rights that I, as a healer, could full clear before any of the other people in my guild.
Right now it looks like you’re complaining to complain, and anyone who disagrees with you gets called “bad” simply because they disagree with you. Then you make an attempt at undermining the content they’ve done by thinking you’ve done better, which you REALLY haven’t (as pointed out by the others in this thread). Lighten the hell up bud. If you don’t like the content, don’t do it. But that doesn’t give you the right to call it easy when you haven’t actually done the content at it’s fullest potential.

that was literally the strat for beating mage tower too… at least now with the masks things are a bit fun
shoot worst mage tower was imp mother on fury warrior if you didn’t have healing legies
the base ilvl of gear shot up when you did it. you were at your lowest 40ilvl higher than people who did it in 7.2…
I did them in 7.2 and had a blast because they were challenging. they were also 100% scripted so you could practice it.
you seem to think doing the same thing over and over again is boring… that’s exactly what mage tower was.
so not only did you out gear the mage tower a year after it came out… but you enjoyed content that was repetitive… which you seem to hate now…
so what is it? your opinion keeps flip flopping.
no matter what way you look at it… you do easy content and tear down people and content that’s challenging because you’re jealous that you can’t play at that level.
Yes. I did both dps shaman mage towers with next to no effort because they were tuned incredibly poorly for the absolute lowest common denominator and were able to be grossly outgeared by like 60 IL. You aren’t outgearing a 5 mask vision run.
Honestly, 60 IL is probably UNDER selling it. You could do them with 60 IL over AND a super giga unlocked artifact weapon from pre-patch.

Mage tower you completed once per spec. You didn’t run the same scripted content over and over. Kruul for example was different for different tank specs.
Mage tower was tuned to iirc ilvl 915 (heroic tomb) and most of the ones I did I was around 920.
Mythic plus is literally just killing the same pirate packs every week for 1.5+ years. Visions everything is exactly the same each time. I did a hard zone. It wasn’t hard.
Well now do 2 hard zones, 2 medium zones, and the easy zones with all 5 masks <3

Thats not a hard zone, thats a lost area with higher sanity drain, thats all, dont label as hard what isnt hard, here, do this:
-Do 1 full run (doing all the objectives in 1 single vision)
-Put on the mask and clear both lost areas of ogri/sw so you get all 4 remaining masks.
-Put all 5 masks on you and do a full clear.
Ill wait when you get back here crying for nerfs.
Since we are on the topic of mage tower comparisons with him, doing one lost zone (if that is what he even did) and saying the visions are easy is the equivalent of saying “I completed stage 1 of the healer mage tower I don’t understand what the big fuss is all about?”
Phase 1 of the healer mage tower alone was way harder than visions.

All of visions. I don’t see the feat of strength with the title in your achievements.
I saw enough in the visions to see that you just cleave down packs and avoid some trivial mechanics. It’s just a dps race. Get gear, do more dps, and progress more. End of.

I’d disagree to that. The mage towers were only hard until the next tier and NC came out. Then they all became a joke.
Oh, and some are shared events. So those would be non-new, scripted events. I thought you looked down on that stuff (I.e. your reasons being that they’re just repeat content and it’s a scripted event)?
I spent a few dozen attempts getting my DH havoc ones the first 3-day timer they were available. By the time antorus raid was several weeks in I finally did the same event on my warrior as arms at laughed as I one shot it.
Oh come on buddy, I did a full clear as a healer. I thought these were easy?
