Try telling me I’m slacking. AND I’ve skipped 3 whole days of dailies. It really is “Avoid doing content as long as possible because of this asinine limit of 5 vessels/25000 visions”
And anyone who wastes their time on extra runs is handicapping themselves, cause at least one week takes 9 runs to upgrade.
Horrific Visions are, to me, the most fun activity they’ve added to the game in years. You get quite an adrenaline rush pushing higher and higher mask clears, at least solo. I’ve yet to do them in a group even though they’re supposedly easier. Activities like this, Withered Army Training, and Deaths of Chromie are all great in my book. Super excited for what Torghast has to offer.
The idea for visions is to push your limits, not sleep on doing the bare minimum, i just did ogri with 5 masks full run yesterday when i could just lay back and do the 2 extra needed zones, theres no fun in not pushing yourself.
Yeah I’m going to upgrade my gear (by running 1.5 year old dungeons) so I can do the same thing I already find boring more effectively. There is nothing the least bit challenging about the visions. It’s a dps check. Period.
Don’t think my HP has ever gone below 50% in them.
tbh visions are just a little side thing. The main focus is the raid, new pvp season, new m+ season. Why should visions appeal to you when you’re the type of player that basically plays solely for transmogs? You want a challenge, run +20 and up keys. Become a mythic raid leader, get the next world first.
You can’t blame the game when you’re the one who doesn’t have initiative. You can’t blame the game when you’re an uninspired casual. Why would you even care about that kind of content when you’re clearly just in it for transmogs? Why would you ever have a valid opinion on something you’re not interested in to begin with? It’s like, if I was a checkers player, and I started bashing the complexity of chess. Of course I wouldn’t like chess, I’m a checkers playing simpleton.
Eh. I’ve been capped on the 7.5 keys for the last two weeks. I do my cloak upgrade runs primarily, then run extra as needed to avoid overcapping currency during the week. I use the extra runs to explore the visions and see what else I can fiddle with in there. I’ll worry about pushing for clears after my cloak is rank 15 in five weeks.
I don’t really consider 1.5 year old dungeons current content. New PvP season means nothing at all. It’s the same thing as before.
So the current patch according to you is a new raid and since there are no tier sets and I already have normal raid level gear, I’m not going to bother.
How much new content do you want? You don’t participate in the higher tiers of difficulty. You think blizz should devote all their development toward a mediocre player like you who is mainly interested in collecting skins for their armor? The most superficial basic type of player?
I did mythic plus in 8.0. I’m not doing the same thing again and again in 8.3. It’s not about quantity so much as quality.
Most players are casuals. Most people who have quit the game are casuals so I’d argue that our concerns are more valid since the game would not survive with people who merely want to repeat the same dungeons every week ad nauseum for 2 years.
