Is it true that quests start at level 76 in sholazar basin? If so, why is that? My level 72s have been grinding here this weekend and can kill just about anything. Where am I supposed to be at level 72?

So all the boring places I was already at? Might be time to quit. No rdf, can’t get groups and can’t even quest how I want. So much fun. My dk at level 72 can pull as many mobs as are in an area in Sholazar, kill them and be at full health, but can’t quest? My fury can kill everything but can’t quest? Super pointless. Thank you for your help.

i think i got the quest from dalaran (when i hit 76) to fly to sholazar basin, it was a fun quest. I hopped on the provided flying mount and flew thru a portal and goblins started shooting at me, but yes I noticed quest givers at 76 there had golden ! on their heads.
Not sure if its the map addon i use, but if you mouse over the maps they tell you what level range that zone is for.

I agree. I’ve been there since WOTLK started. I played both sides in original WOTLK but don’t remember it being this easy back then. Then again, I leveled as a healer.
Leatrix Maps - someone said they use a map addon to see dungeon maps, so i searched for one and hoped that would do it but I’m probably just to old to figure it out. That addon at least shows the full northrend maps and flight paths (even if you dont have them yet)! Since I’m new to wotlk, i wanted to explore and found myself (after i hit 77 for flying) trying to get all the flight paths
I am going to have to download that. Thank you.

Imagine how much worse it feels at 80, the heroics can be done with a blind fold on and raids are literal loot piñatas with 2 mechanics at max.
People are forced to quit the game because leveling all over again from 70-80 has to be the biggest waste of time, even with heirlooms you’re stuck with a dead LFG scene so you’re basically repeating the same garbage quest zones infinitely.

No doubt. Like I said my lvl 72 blood dk can pull like 10 mobs at a time, kill them and be at full health, yet can’t do a quest? Same with the warrior, except he has no real self heals and since I miss at that level, I stick to 1-2 mobs at a time. I can’t even quest on my healer anymore since it is so boring. My mage can living bomb 6-10 mobs at a time as well.
I can’t do it like this. I really was counting on leveling via rdf which I used a lot when questing, grinding and gathering in original wotlk, but without it, this is BORING. I’ve been leveling my healer in AV, but unless it is AV weekend the queues are too long and he is honor capped with nothing to spend the honor on.
I mean, literally everything in the current state of the game is wack. Can’t even vendor excess honor items in this version. I have every mount and piece of gear I can buy, yet he is level 71. What am I supposed to do for the next 9 levels?
Yeah it’s honestly sad how bad Wrath Classic is, the people in charge have ruined a lot of things and not to mention they have been absolutely radio silent about the whole thing.
I wish I could give you a solution too but this is really something that I also deal with and I decided to just log in, slam a couple heroics and log off lmao.
I just can’t be bothered anymore, why should I put in effort if the devs don’t either.
since im a newbie, i did some google searching to fact check peoples claims and while RDF was in wrath, like many people stated it was added around the time ICC was enabled, so if they keep true to the experience… They may add RDF when ICC opens up.
Now the sad part, someone told me ICC wont open until sometime in 2024, given my age… I’m not even sure I’ll be alive by than hah
But hopefully I can experience what everyone said was the best part of wotlk (RDF) so many years ago before i die
The problem is that we’re on ICC patch right now, and that’s the reason why so many people at 80 are quitting the game because we’re on ICC patch doing Naxx content and face rolling it with nothing else to do because they didn’t implement the one thing that also came out in ICC patch that gave the game any replay value.
Cry moar. Yeah if you followed your quest line in borean you would’ve been guided right into dragonsblight, if you were questing in Fjord you’d be guided to grizzly. This game is so basic, seeing players like you that act so self entitled and deal the I quit card so easily just made me cringe then vomit, then cringe some more.

WOTLK Classic did not start on the original first patch. RDF would be in the game by now. Also, there are things in Classic that were never in WOTLK, so enough with that stupid argument. Lastly the community is totally different than now. I did research too. I actually played original WOTLK and it was my all time favorite expansion. This is nothing like original WOTLK.

But we’re on P1. Also assuming they even add rdf at all, hopefully they don’t as i like my server being my server and i don’t ask or request instant gratification so ive had zero issues here short of a dc here and there.
