Level 11 in Timewalking

Thanks for being the clown in all of this. I’m enjoying myself.

Still waiting…
Let’s see those receipts???

4 months of straight timewalking comes to an end Tuesday.

You’ll never see a twink again.

Obviously you have issues with twinks because I’ve been vouching for them and you’re replying to me. Ah. Thanks

Gets my popcorn ready.
:popcorn::popcorn:

Let me refer you to this :point_down: :point_down: :point_down:

I dont think so

I haven’t seen this many “No U” since my xbox live days. :rofl:

This dude is seriously having a seizure in a wow forum about twinks.

Thanks for giving us a show.

:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

Oh wow, people are quitting cuz of TW lol

That is what I thought – You can defer and deflect all you want but you can’t show receipts because you don’t have any… all due to your lack of reading and comprehension skills.

Just another :clown_face:

:troll: :mute: :no_bell:

Improving my wow forum experience one less troll at a time.

Why are you arguing against me if you’re not against twinks? You’re here for a reason.

Exactly as you thought bro.

I like the comedy though. Keep going. But, I guess you learned your lesson.

I guess you’ll quit wow too over twinks.

:microphone::microphone::microphone::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

It’s more the fact that Blizz is constantly balancing the game around the lowest common denominator and twinks essentially serve as nothing more than a leveling service for people that will hit 80 and expect the carries to keep coming.

Overall a terrible factor for the health of the game both when it comes to leveling experience and end game. It keeps the true addicts subbed and rolling new alts though.

You’re likely vastly misinterpreting something or a comment from a GM that doesn’t have much weight.

PvE twinks have been around for many years. They were especially common in BfA for example, which is when Blizzard added the xpoff XP nerf when grouped with others.

As you can see by that example, Blizzard will make in-game changes when something is happening that they don’t like. They don’t just action players for using the systems available unless it’s a massively obvious exploitation like defeating a raid boss in a buggy world first encounter by avoiding a mechanic.

They could get rid of xpoff.

They could remove xpoff players from the same PvE dungeon queue as other players.

They could change the scaling system so low levels don’t have as significant an advantage.

They could remove the spec aura modifier they use for end-game balance from lower levels as that gives certain specs a much bigger advantage than other on top of scaling at low levels and the buffs are intended for end-game balance anyway.

They could nerf the interaction of lifesteal with WW for fury warriors.

Nothing timewalking twinks are doing is against any rule or is abusing a system. They are all legitimate uses of in-game mechanics. Mechanics that could easily be changed by Blizzard if they thought it was actually a problem.

The rule you cite also is laughably vague and has nothing at all to do with what you want it to be about. If you had at least made an argument quoting the social contract instead of that rule you’d at least have a logical argument (you’d still be wrong), but again, Blizzard has taken no action against people rushing dungeons whether it be in remix, TWW leveling dungeons or DF leveling dungeons or timewalking dungeons.

Someone pulling a dungeon fast because they are powerful enough to do so isn’t a bannable offense or an exploitation of anything. It is kind of rude if you’re leaving everyone behind, which is why I don’t go as fast as I could when I’m in a group on a twink, but even if you do you are not violating any rule and Blizzard’s position is pretty clear given we’ve been able to speed through dungeons even without lowbie twinks for quite some time.

There were numerous threads complaining about tanks speeding in leveling dungeons in DF and TWW for example. Nothing happened outside a minor scaling adjustment to low 70s at the start of TWW. No action taken against players because it would be absurd to do so.

You are likely confusing an unrelated situation or are just delusional. If you want to quote something at least quote something related to what you’re talking about. The rule you keep citing has nothing to do with this outside a laughable misinterpretation.

IE: this is a quote from the social contract:

Play as a team with your fellow players - whether in dungeons, raids, battlegrounds, arenas, or out questing in the world. Do your best to support your team through your communication and behaviors so that you can all celebrate your success together.

That is more relevant to why speeding past your group might be a violation of a rule, but again as I already proved to you, is not something they take action on in leveling dungeons, remix or TW.

Poor Radalpho, you need to leave this thread or switch toons. Too many people are confusing you with Raldor who has totally lost his mind

The guy seriously is having an episode over twinks in wow. :man_facepalming:t4:

Ah man, skipping bosses is now a violation of ToS!!!

If you’re looking to be challenged in content that’s meant to be used for speedleveling alts / slamming the content then that’s a you problem and not twinks.

I love them and doubt they’re going anywhere.

On a serious note, i have been in plenty of level 80 groups that skipped the second boss in Dire Maul. Does the dungeon completion not count for the weekly? I for sure have never noticed it if it didn’t. and cant imagine anyone would do that so they have to run 6 instead of 5

This week I’ve asked in a handful of dungeons if anyone wants optional boss X.

Usually nobody says anything at all in response so I just stopped asking most of the time.

Most of the people in the groups are level 80s just doing their weekly quest. The lower levels get more xp from the dungeon completion than the rest of the dungeon and don’t really seem to care either. I was in one entire dungeon where someone asked if we could do a boss for a quest so I killed it.

I keep hearing this claimed as well as the claim that twinks are carried off on the shoulders of the group as they beg them for another run.

And yet barely anybody ever talks in any queued content and I’ve never witnessed a twink being told anything other than to slow down.
