Level 11 Fury Warriors in Timewalking Dungeons

Is not a slog. I play all tanks and all of them can do big pulls and burn through cds just fine. Your twinks do nothing but invalidate everyone else in the group

Eh, they do exist. immediately b4 meeting the lvl 11 speedtank amazing group, the previous group kicked a tank that died once. The reason was “bad”. So
I reacted by calling them all dumb and votekicked the guy who kicked the tank for no reason. Naturally since 99% of the time ppl say yes to make the box go away, both votes immediately passed

Nobody really gets to play/compete when I bring my Rogue or a few other geared bursty classes/specs vto Timewalkers either, unless they’re very low level. Should I not be allowed to run my Rogue through Timewalkers?

It’s literally leveling content doubling up as a weekly to break up the monotony of the weekly/weekend events for primarily casual players, which also happens to provide a gear box. It’s not that serious and minus a few exceptions to the rule has generally been content that gets easily smashed out.

So with you on the feeling you get weaker at you level up. I don’t mind scaling. I actually enjoy it cause I’d rather not just one or two shot everything but at the same time, I don’t want to be the one getting one or two shot lol!!

Then stop crying if you arent going to go to the content where playing your character matters.

Then you should have no issues keeping up with a lower level.

This entire game is about playing a character.

Sorry you’re so jaded that you support this idiot twinking fad. Can’t wait for your tears when Blizzard fixes it.

And nothing is stopping you orher than yourself.

They’ll only make it worse for you “smell the roses” people if they try to “fix” it.

I didn’t say they don’t exist. This is what I said:

My point is people on the GD exaggerate. A lot.

That’s a weird way of saying “I don’t have any friends so I can’t do content that doesn’t automatically place me in a group”

Me having nothing to heal is exactly the same as you having nothing to tank. Sometimes a role is just not needed. You aren’t used to that being you, and think you’re somehow special and exempt.

Speak for yourself. I had one of those in a Neltharions Lair twing the other day and that was the smoothest run ever. I like to see people who play the game in nonstandard ways.

That’s kind of an exaggera
 oh, I see.

Can’t wait for your tears when you finally realize Blizzard has endorsed and encouraged Twinking for the past 20 years.

Less this, and more that Blizzard knows that anything with an auto-queue is required to be pants on head easy for even the lowest common denominator or the community will have a meltdown.

Have the day you deserve with that comment.

Lacking the time to make friends in WoW because I am married and have a career and a family and volunteering and a busy social calendar – IRL – isn’t the L you’d like to think it is.

I don’t really have too much outside of work and family + catchups so I’ve been a fair bit of TW in my spare time.

I’ve given it an extensive go since this thread was made and here’s my take on it:

  • Level 11s or twinking at any level bracket isn’t as starkly cracked as it used to be, especially when you compare to a 630+ character. You can essentially keep pulling all the way on a max tank character and average 2 million rather than 3 million. I know for certain back in the day the glob spawn from the plaguefall dungeon would sometimes be all the boss damage.

  • You can cheese the system on a max level character. They scaled TW mob health based on our ilvl all the way to 700 (ref: https://www.wowhead.com/news/timewalking-dungeons-buffed-up-to-66-more-health-349288) . If you take a ring off you still have your damage trinkets/weapon but mobs will have 40-60% less health based on multiple items.

  • in 50+ dungeon runs I’ve done lately I’ve met 3 level 11 runs. They are especially dead absent when I tank but I have seen some level 20 priest healer twinks that did the same.

Overall it’s been a good experience and if anything I enjoyed those few ‘free’ runs between the others.

The only reason I run TW is for the Turbulent Timeways credit. Because you have to stack the buff within the two hour duration, you end up back-to-backing TW queues, and it’s just tiresome. (These dungeons were meh when I did them the first time back in 2005. Why would they be any more enjoyable now?)

So getting a zoom-zoom speedtwink run is a huge relief.

Why? Because you can’t handle the truth?

Then play other content that fits your schedule and keep your nose out of m+. It’s not hard to understand. You’re not owed social content just because you work for a living and have a family. People with families make plenty of time for that sort of thing all the time. It’s called having a hobby. What a weirdo argument.

I’ve read your activity and you’ve never done anything but kick upset people when they’re down. I’m good without your insights or advice.

Just want to say that as someone who has been doing it on an 80 since the anniversary, I have only hit a lvl 11 twink ONCE. I have hit lvl 70-72 chars though that just absolutely destroy everything.

When I have free time, I will do a few runs on my 11 fury warrior. Never heard a complaint. The queuing is bugged, and a lot of times people want me to carry them for their 5 but queue bugs and I have to dip. Sorry about that. I know how rough it can be slogging through these, especially this week with classic.
