I was showing you what your meters could look like, but you are too focused on being a disengenious potato lol.

Just go do a TW and take a screenshot of overall damage after you kill the final boss.
I havenât done much 80 content in months but my highest ilvl 80 is 623 so I tried a 623 holy priest to see what that was like.
I was in a group with 3 80s and a 75 spriest that didnât do much dps. The two 80 hunters were only 590ish gear but the top DPS still did 3x as much damage as my priest that was 25+ ilvls higher when I spammed holy nova on groups. Despite having a tank, 3 dps and a healer DPSing, the groups still died much slower than any of my twinks would do by far on their own.
My level 12 holy priest will run up to groups and 3 shot them with holy nova without help from anyone else. Sometimes one shotting some trash if I have full rhapsody. I think a 10 priest would do more overall dps but my only twink priest to compare is a level 12 and not fully geared though pretty decently geared.
Guess weâre not getting this, huh?
This is not even remotely true.
You mustâve ran into a fresh twink that just turned off their experience and had no enchants or gear or something, because itâs not even close.
The Twink will streamroll everything immediately and the geared 80 wonât even have a chance to hit things. The most Iâve EVER seen an 80 do is pop a big AoE CD on a huge pack and do like 20% of the twinkâs damage on that one pull then back to 2% on subsequent pulls â assuming theyâre even caught up which depends mostly on how nice the twink is being.
Also blatantly wrong. Scaling HEAVILY favors low levels, likely in an attempt to keep them relevant despite not having their full kits unlocked yet (but misses the mark by going way overboard).
This is the case in and out of timewalking.
I seriously doubt youâd run thousands since 11.0.5, which is when twinks gained access to timewalking. Maybe youâre comparing your 80 to other high levels in old Timewalking âTwinkâ sets utilizing old legendaries and such? Because thatâs not particularly effective anymore, but standard olâ low level twinking is.
Overpulling is part of it. The twink is effectively invincible and will kill things in 1-3 globals depending on the twink and the particular mobs. Thereâs literally no reason for a twink to not pull entire rooms or boss-to-boss if they can do so without killing the group.
We saw the EXACT same behavior at level 70-75 or so in TWW Leveling Dungeons from people in DF patch gear or prepatch catchup gear. Itâs what people do when they feel confident it wonât get them killed.
Are you saying you can beat a twink who doesnât know what theyâre doing to the extent that they are pulling one pack at a time and somehow not moving faster than a standard level 80 with 0-2% speed?
Because that says a lot more about the twink youâre playing with than about how strong twinks are in general.
Twinks werent able to run TW until the anniversary event started. I think minimum level to queue was level 30 previously
Tbh I canât even remember what the level was. I leveled 7 toons during the anniversary and countless prior, not to mention how many I ran for the weekly and just currency.
It all blends together unfortunately.
Just finished my raid and looked it up. Apparently you had to be level 60 AND 180ilvl, and that happened in 10.0.2. Not even DF launch lol.

In 10.1.7 they changed it to be based on the bracket the expansion was in.
30 for BC and WotLK Timewalking, 35 for Cata and MoP, 40 for WoD, 45 for Legion.
Was technically always 10 for Vanilla but they didnât actually add that until 11.0.5 and they changed the rules entirely to scale to the player (like normal dungeons do) so anyone who can queue for dungeons can queue.
TBF it only last about 10 levels and then they very quickly fall back in line. Yes, it could use some tuning but let them have their fun.
I did a TW dungeon earlier and a level 71 dps was doing around 200,000dps regularly.
It doesnt just last 10 levels. Iâve found that the early 70s are smoking the numbers done by level 80s. Its quite amazing to watch just how out of whack scaling is nowadays.
(Note, I wasnt on this toon, I was on my level 80 hunter. His numbers were ok but I may as well have just rested my fingers since most mobs were dead before I could get off more than a couple of shots.)
Which boot would that be?
Doing content with people you know?
I guessâŚ
settle down BeavisâŚjust saying after a few twink runs I think it would be boring. I have made twinks before and after killing a few level 6s on a level 1, I just find it boringâŚ
I havenât bought the âBore Withinâ and this is my main toonâŚ
Who is âweâ and why are you some level 10 mage posting?
If you donât even have the current expansion are you not essentially just a level 70 twink?
I beg to differ⌠can a geared 80 do tremendous damage?
Most certainly.
Can a geared 80 compete with a geared twink⌠no⌠not gonna happen.
My lvl 11 Fury Warrior is geared beyond what most twinks do⌠i once ran a dungeon where a lvl 80 Paladin was putting out close to HALF my damage and i was shocked. Ive never seen anyone come remotely close to my damage⌠maybe 10%⌠this guy was at 50% my damage.
I inspected this Paladin⌠FULL HEAD TO TOE MYTHIC RAID GEARâŚ
50% my twinks damage⌠and YES, he was trying to beat me.
Hard as he tried⌠full Mythic raid gear⌠he was still 50% what i was doing.
P.S., my main 80 is ilvl 620⌠im a heroic raider, not a mythic raider⌠i have zero doubt the Paladin i speak about is a more talented player than me⌠twinks are twinks⌠youâre just not going to beat a semi talented twink who knows what heâs doing no matter how good you are in the current setup.
Meanwhile the playerbase thinks M+ is a joke
sure, why not? I play twinks sometimes. but youâre missing my point, I find after a few runs, theyâre boringâŚ
Not right now they canât, no. But if it was at the end of the expansion? Probably. Not like it really matters though, itâs all just stat caps. Like me, I can out burst a twink on a boss, but only with a 1 min CD set up. And even then, the bosses have (Ironically) so little health that they die so quickly itâs hard to gauge who would win in a longer fight.
Meanwhile on trash twinks have the advantage
But anyway, yeah. If This was at the end of the expansion and some Mythic raider came in, fully geared with whatever legendary weapon/uber item youâd get from the latest raid tier, theyâd make the dungeons the same cakewalk as twinks do. I donât see why people care, this sort of things always happens.
I remember when LFG came in during Wrath, and people would Blitz through Heroics with shadowmourne and stuff. It became a game to see how quickly we could finish dungeons.
Early 70s with iLVL from end game DF will also outscale others, but there in lies the problem, your iLVL. Level 10-15ish simply scale high, but once you start levelling, unless you keep up with the gear, which never happens due to how fast you level, you end up falling behind in gear.
So for a level 10 levelling as normal, by the time they hit 70 their iLVL will be around 150-200 lower than what an end game DF character has, and now no longer scales higher than others.
And thatâs also a problem, considering you get some people who tank or heal at those parameters it means they are quite literally, useless. And itâs not just âHigh level, low iLVLâ, but anyone at any level, if their gear is too low they will just be bad.
I even had a level 20 tank yesterday that did not have any new gear on, they fell over on single pack pulls. I had a tank once at level 70 something with 150 iLVL, they died faster than the healer could even get a single heal off and had to leave because we were just not getting anywhere.
by âweâ i mean retail overall not talking about the people
