Letting people into lfr nzoth without cloak indicates blizzard doesn't care anymore

Think it was clear they were trying to prep players with the poll.

They’ll just get kicked eventually if they don’t have the cloak. I don’t do LFR, but I feel doing a simple questline before heading into it is not too much to ask.

Then come out and say it. Say we’re requiring the cloak for LFR. Don’t just suggest how wonderful it would be to have one.

I agree with OP. people without the cloak shouldn’t even be able to queue for the final wing of LFR.

If you were on the alliance I would run you. By the end of the xpac you can get it for free, I wouldn’t spend 10g on it tbh.

They never asked bro. No one knew. It’s a terrible way to operate. Surprise! Here’s why we are pushing visions so hard!

Let’s just say communication has never been Blizzard strenght.
As far as content go, I’m fine with it.

The purpose of LFR is to provide a means for individuals to participate in raids without being organized. It offers less rewards than higher more organized difficulties. The cloak is a “save or die” type of mechanic, they don’t usually throw into LFR given the chaos it can cause through an unorganized mode. There should be either a warning or individuals shouldn’t be allowed to queue without the cloaks. Also, the cloak isn’t a mechanic. It’s a check at the beginning of the fight. It doesn’t just make it harder for that player, it makes them unable to participate.

What are you talking about? We’ve known for weeks that you need the cloak to do the last bosses.

this right here is what they should have done.

You dont need lfr to see the end cinematic they have that option in game already just talk to the npc in your main hub

It’s not just about the end cinematic, lfr is also so people can see the fight. Blizzard was like only 5% of players are seeing these fights we spend 25% of our budget on so let’s just make a story mode called lfr

OP, I agree with you on this. It also waters down the “legendary” part of the cloak. If I can go in and kill N’zoth without it, then why do I need to do the work to get it. It’s a shame blizzard went down this lazy path.

part of the problem is an lfr exists because players are the way they are. they are so quick to dog another rather than help or just talk than anything else. nobody helps each other much anymore

the majority of players just want to be the top of the charts and the ones that are playing for fun and not competition are shunned. we as players have screwed the pooch many of us by thinking that a few numbers and playing piano on a keyboard with 50 add-ons with a stress level bordering stroke levels is what an MMO is lol

How are you interpreting that this means Blizzard doesn’t care? Seems to me if the people are entering the raid without the cloak THEY don’t care.

They don’t care because they are letting players troll/derail/wipe groups without recourse for those actually trying to kill the boss.

Who’s we? I didn’t know. Where were we informed of that?

I was in a group with 9 stacks and boss never went below 74%.

I raided Uldir as alliance. I think I left a 110 paly over there. Still in greens though. lol

Yeah you’d need the cloak and some semi-decent gear obv. But if you do that I’m happy to help. TBH you could just do some heroic pugging and get it np. The fight will only be easier as people get more geared and learn the mechanics. The secret for nzoth is to do small comps only.

It was fine in MoP. Then it became a joke.
