Honestly if blizzard was more transparent or actually responded to criticism it likely wouldnt be like this. The issue winds up being that is seems like blizzard isn’t listening to fan complaints, and wow is a massive money sink. 12 dollars a month, 20 dollar down payment, and a 60 dollar down payment every 2 years. The only way to reduce the cost is to turn wow into a massive time sink. People will feel ripped off if they spent over $500 dollars on a game and then had someone destroy everything they liked about it, which is what many people feel blizzard is doing.
