Let's talk about the current Battleground situation

When the queue pops, one patsy takes it. The installed mod does “Shift Space” and looks at the names of the players on the other team, and broadcasts that information to everyone who has the mod.

It can’t be any more complex than that.

LOL you sound like my 12-year-old daughter.

Don’t worry - You are in good hands and you WILL get better soon. Have plenty of rest! And stop reading the forum your body don’t need more stress Lol !

Get well soon! :yellow_heart:

They’ve gone right back to using add-ons to heavily automate the process of circumventing restrictions on party sizes in group queues for PVP.

Of course Blizzard is also notoriously slow to actually fix issues stemming from mods, and allowed whole seasons of PVP to be ruined thanks to thinks like kickbot so I imagine they’d be even slower to address something for unrated PVP.

I’m glad! I was pretty merry when I got him in a 1v1 and dropped him below 50% as he backpeddled away. But then he turtled and cheetah’d into a zergball for safety :frowning:

cant even cast 3 spells. am i having fun yet? (no)

While I was in game, I was queuing up for a pug since all I play are pugs. I look at the button there that always says premade group ummm, yeah I think blizzard support the premade idea, and that Community Flare addon is just another addon on any another week in time in the world of warcraft game.

I don’t think from how much response we have received that Blizzards cares about the addon or the idea of Premade. All I see is pug players wanted to play pug only EBG and BG, and you want blizzard to create new EBG’s and BG’s for Premade only or eliminate the ability of addons some more. How about they just don’t let us use addons anymore… So like last year you couldn’t join Korrath without being in the raid, and this year you could join Korrath individually.

So I could see blizzard using Korrath as a starting point, and NO PUG would be able to join unless it was a raid group. And No you would not be able to complain about oh but we want to play there to, Tuff beans you wanted them to get rid of the Premade they now have over time 7 places to go where puggers can’t and Some kind of control that states you can’t pug with your friends anymore you have to queue individually for regular EBG and BG. To top it off Blizzard decides that Puggers will only have three to play in, AV, AB and WSG. Everything else will be changed for Premade and puggers will but with puggers and premade with premade. Problem solved?

I think they could do that if they wanted to. But then how would the pvp community as a whole respond to only playing a premade in a premade EBG or BG that they had, it may even be new territory.

I bet, the non-premade would start whining all over again about not having a fair pvp system, I bet ya that is what would happen…

I don’t think there is a better solution than what we already have… I am not seeing anyone with a great solution, I don’t even think mine is a good idea.

Nobody is asking for premades to be removed—just for sync queuing to be fixed. This has been stated over and over, but it doesn’t fit the sync queue narrative, so you and others will continue to ignore it.

Either enforce the existing 5-player limit and punish those abusing the queue, or implement cross-faction queues like BG Blitz.

I didn’t read your wall, but the group size cap for any unranked PvP is 5 people. That was a change Blizzard made like 15 years ago to avoid premades from…GY farming pugs for hours. :dracthyr_lulmao:

Think Im just going to start quitting all premades. I have 4x level 80 toons. I can just change to a different char and re-Q.

The wall is separated in paragraphs…

What if I told you, the sync queues is part of the game, has been in place since 2005 when AV came out with WSG, and we in 2005 would sync 5 person parties all the time. It has never changed nor was ever an issue until now, I really don’t think they are going to change anything.

Premade will always be here now, with this new expansion PVP is finally blooming. I don’t think its going to change, we will see, but blizzard isn’t doing anything right now to correct how CF accesses the game to get premade to do what they want to do.

I bet, in a year, this problem will be gone, because to survive in pvp anything, you’re going to need to be on a premade, which means everyone here will be joining a premade or leaving pvp, or even the game. You know, pve is still there…

because to survive in pvp anything, you’re going to need to be on a premade

Plenty of solo players are surviving just fine.

“Just fine” – Then why are you on here complaining about premades 24/7/365?

I’m not – you’re just a bit dramatic.

No, you’re being dramatic and lying… Stop it. They’re not surviving “just fine” and you know it… If they were, you wouldn’t be on here whining 24/7.

If I wasn’t surviving, I wouldn’t have done like 500 EBGs this season.

Cheating is part of the game as well, so I guess it’s ok.

Well, that’s just a blatant lie.

Ya that’s just blatantly incorrect.

So you guys will be left just dodging each other and not playing all day.

What if I told you I know the problem is only going to get worse before it gets better? I’m well aware that you guys are willing to kill the game mode just to avoid any form of real PvP if Blizzard allows it—which, at this point, seems to be the case.

Quite the opposite, but feel free to keep telling yourself that.

The moment you run out of pugs to farm and have no choice but to fight each other is when epics will die.

Sync queueing and farming pugs is a lot closer to PvE than actual PvP, which is why you do it.
