EBGs are a mode by themselves, they aren’t there to learn in.
Nor are they there to gear in.
And everyone is on the honor grind.
Probably 90% of the reason premades exist in the first place, if pugs played as a team, they’d have more of a chance in a team game.
Oh, good, so, premades would be ok if there were more healers on the pug team?
Yes, you’ve constructed your scenario so that it doesn’t.
I geared every class except one, and learned basic pvp skills on most in EBGs. It’s honestly the best place for new players to learn, which is why they go there.

And you had 30 honor levels to do that while in the kiddy pool.
And now I’ve done almost an additional 40 in the big boy leagues, huh?
Yes. You’re in the big pool now, no point complaining about the people who know how to swim.
All I’ve done is point out that players go to EBGs for honor – it’s the first place they go.
I do them for honor too, it doesn’t make you special.
I never said it did. Did you get confused somewhere or is this just a slap fight?
I never said that you said that.
So hopefully we can get back to the point, which was that EBGs are the go-to place for players to gear up, learn their specs, diffuse responsibility
But it isn’t what they’re for.
It may be what some people use them for, but they are a mode on their own.
Which is also why sync-queue premades are there instead of in rated.

instead of in rated.
You know you can queue for more than one mode, don’t you?
Inexperienced players flock to the battleground mode with the least amount of individual responsibility – that’s EBGs. Blizzard could address it by just adding a separate BG mode with the Epic maps that allows raid groups to queue. That way, inexperienced players still have a mode to go to in order to learn/gear, and premades can do what they say they want to – face other premades.

Inexperienced players
If you’re still inexperienced after you get out of the kiddy pool, there’s no one to blame but yourself.
Sorry I took a 10-year break from the game.
Why is that anyone else’s problem?
I never said it was. I haven’t said anything you’ve claimed I have. You just really, really want to start a fight
I’ve never claimed that you said anything.
I’ve asked questions.
If I accuse you of saying something, it would say “But you said…”
No, you’re sealioning, and it’s not subtle at all.
