People see through what you’re doing. Premades are an actual issue that needs to be addressed – no matter how much it upsets the guilty parties.

Lmao. I’m not ashamed to have a life outside of WoW. This isn’t the gotcha you think it is. I returned last week and literally turned 80 yesterday and experienced this is my first few bgs last night.

There are some practices which I agree need to be curbed, but premades as a whole is what the genre is about.
If you don’t like MMOs, why did you start playing an MMO?
It isn’t a gotcha at all.
If anything, you’re the one derailing, this entire thread, 300 comments, and you’re the only one talking about low level BGs.
I started playing in 2006, and I don’t remember having to face premades every third match.
Premades as a whole is what the genre is about
If that were the case, EBGs would be queued as raids, and they’re not.

Queue syncing could very well be the way Blizzard intends for raids to join BGs.
Fixing it is a minimal change to the matchmaker, they’ve had at least 10 years to deal with it, you’ve got to wonder why they haven’t.

Well go on, why have they not done the minimal work required to make queue syncing impossible?
Even simply having a debuff for not taking a queue, which is already used in other modes.
If I (a solo player, with minimal programming ability) can come up with possible fixes which minimally impact solo queued players, why can a large corporate environment not?

Even that is huffing the copium a bit hard considering they removed the ability to queue as a raid.

I’m looking at the system as it is and asking why the system works the way it does.
Yes, they did.
And they changed the addon API so that addons can’t access the queue window.
And they haven’t done anything else to the matchmaker. In 10+ years. I’m wondering why?
They are certainly aware of queue syncing.

I didn’t say that it was the intent, but that it could be, do you know what speculation is?
Legitimately insane take. They removed the ability for raids to queue for a reason. That players found a work around doesn’t mean “maybe this is what they intended.”

They could have changed the matchmaker in that time, easily.
And yet they haven’t and are radio silent on it.

Which is why I’m speculating, it’s all we have until the radio silence is broken.
But I still wonder, if the status quo isn’t intended, why has it not been changed?
It’s fairly simple to fix. A large corporate entity should certainly be able to fix it.
But, the old idiom comes to mind… “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.
Not sure that is true. I remember immediately after adding exp to bg’s, players were chain afk’ing the AV caves. You could watch them jump every now and then to prevent idle and then when flagged try to run out and get some combat(the wolves outside horde start for example) and it wouldn’t remove their debuff. They eventually get kicked.
It has been specifically a pvp requirement for a long time.
I just got a horde rogue that I am going to gear next season to do what you guys do.
