Ugh, yes, when I saw the void staff we got the other month as a Traveler’s Journal reward didn’t match the Void Elf heritage armor in the gold parts, oh I was so annoyed. Like I know it wasn’t made specifically for void elves, but we don’t have that much purple/gold stuff across all the armor classes, also they’re both void themed, it’s right there.
I think there’s a few pieces that are just a rotating palette away from that.

We should have a flying gold disc coin and a flying gold piggy bank mounts in WoW.
They would be very expensive, but would be fun to see

Though that doesn’t always help if the material/shading on the armor is different.
FFXIV, GW2, ESO all have issues where one dye will look noticeably different across various armors because of it.
