Out of curiosity, is there a significant difference between just playing without addons, forming a guild for people who might want to do the same, or having dedicated servers for doing so?
Or, are you just hoping specifically to take delight in other people complaining of having displeasure?

The addons aren’t for me, they’re for you. Saying that “addons are mandatory” is saying “I have 0 faith in you doing mechanics without airhorns and flashing lights going off the entire fight”

Sounds like something that belongs in Hardcore mode, but definitely not in SOD.

Thats exactly what I want. I thought I heard that its the game being open enough for addons that contributes to botting.
You can play dagger fury warrior and its a legit spec that competes with top warriors
What’s stopping you? There are +dagger gloves in MC with AP on them, And the first raid (MC) has 2 incredible daggers in perditions and core hound tooth

taking out addon would do nothing to stop botting… Bots are scripted outside wow and have been there long before all the add-ons were around. Like add-on can’t effect your char making you attack or move or loot

Map addons that allow you too zoom, cause apparently that is not native? I didn’t even realize that until I was getting a friend to try to game I told him to zoom in on that map and he couldn’t do it.
To many addons That make the game nicer to play.
And it being in the hands of the players make it nice cause otherwise you have stupid people who go “Noo you gonna waste dev time!” I was told on the forums adding a calendar to classic would be wasting dev time. A calendar. That they already have the coding for. Some people are a waste of space.

I won’t lie…I would like to experience it. Just the raw game and player skill. No questie, no DBM, no meters, no weak auras. Nadda.

I don’t understand these posts. If you don’t like elitists, then why would you want to play with them? I assume you think it’s petty that people check logs for easy content. OK, but you want to raid with them otherwise?

Let’s not pretent a single person turning off add ons is the same thing as no one in the game having add ons
So long as you don’t pretend that add-ons, which have always been a huge part of the game, are some kind of problem that needs to be solved.
