Let's get one thing straight about Blizzard CS

Preformatted reply templates =/= AI generated response

Anybody who has worked in any kind of CS where you communicate with clients via the internet will know that businesses don’t want any room for error in communication/over-promising things when their employees are communicating with customers. For that reason, you’re always given preformatted responses to use when interacting with customers.

It’s just a common business practice, not AI slop just because you want to imply that Blizzard is lazy.

AI is just a gimmick marketing term. There’s no real AI. Oral B toothbrushes are advertised as coming with AI now for Pete’s sake. It’s all just the latest marketing fad with 0 truth to any of it.

Yeah, true but when consumers accuse companies of using AI it just comes off as sounding like Facebook rumor brainrot.

omg i think i hear him coming.

told you hes coming.

I feel like you don’t have a job?
Virtually every company, especially large enterprise like blizz is toying with AI right now. There was that reddit post that scanned Blizz CS responses for AI content and none of the submitted responses passed the AI checker…

Both M365 and Google Suite are really sweetening the deal on implementing their AI tools like copilot wherever they can on the B2B side…
And blizz is outsourcing their CS in 2025 on the tails of all those recent layoffs which were likely majority minimum wage CS and related depts…

You were right.

lol my point was, if you did, you’d know every company from SMBs to large enterprise are using AI.
So I guess you don’t, confirmed

“using X” and “using X for everything” are not the same claim

idk what that means

it means that it’s possible to acknowledge that microsoft/blizzard uses AI for some tasks while also believing they don’t necessarily use AI for everything. hope that is more clear

The company I worked for didn’t use it, I can’t say which company because I signed an NDA but it was a fairly large multibillion dollar corporation.

Company i work for doesn’t either. While they don’t do billions, they do 10s of millions. But AI in my industry would be moronic. Robots maybe someday

Coming from the terminally online forum contrarian is actually amusing.

Why do you have to be so negative all the time?

Prove it then. Because all you ever do is unsupported claims. If it’s happening it’s easy to have evidence.
