Let's Be Reasonable - Reduce dual spec timer to 2 hours

Hello Everyone!

Ostriches here. I just wanted to pop by and offer my two cents. I feel that as a semi casual dad gamer that reducing the dual spec timer from 4 hours to 2 hours would be a welcome change.

I would honestly like access to this 2 hour dual spec right now. It would work great to assist all of my farming needs. I’m in the Bog Lord Tendril and Mote of Earth market. Respeccing costs me a lot of money, especially if I’m out there slaying earth elementals all day.

Please consider this as an alternative before WOTLK comes out. It would be a welcome change from a lot of us dad gamers. :slight_smile:

You forgot to say why. Why should it be 2 hours instead of 4 hours?

no CD for dual spec, all it does is limit playability. if i want to quest as boomkin but dungeon as resto i should be able to change to resto, hop into a dungeon, clear it, then switch back to boomkin whenever i want to

I did say “why”. As a father of 2 children, I find it fits my needs as a working adult better.

Yes I do. And I can play perfectly fine around a 4 hour CD, so I’m unsure why you can not. If you are choosing to not elaborate, that’s fine, but it makes your request rather unconvincing.

You are speaking from a position of privilege. I’m assuming you are in a stable marriage? I am currently raising 3 children on my own. Being a single LGBTQ dad limits the amount of time I have to respec. 2 hours would allow me to enjoy the fruits of my loom with less hassle.

Or… Just make it only availed to be able to change in a rested area. IIRC you had to be in a rested area anyway. Did you actually play Wrath before?

2 Hour wait is stupid. I may want to run some dungeons before raid and then do some more after. If you think the guild I am in cant clear a raid in under 2 hours, then your clearly in the wrong guild as we can and do.

There has been no confirmation of changes to Dual Spec yet, it was only stated that changes are being considered.

What the heck does you sexual orientation have to do with the game… NOTHING… Just keep the system to only allow changing in rest areas like it was before and everything will be fine. Quit trying to change crap that isnt broken.
