Im simply providing evidence why a CHT should be doing more damage for you, i have no idea why you are now doing less. My bad for possibly de-railing your thread.

Na you aren’t derailing it at all, you are actually contributing to it and trying to figure out the problem, unlike the other people who just want to troll. I guess we will never know if my damage is actually different. Its hard to get other Rogues opinions because hardly any actually go combat daggers for raiding.

Wait so its just an issue vs npc mobs? How is it in PvP? And it shouldnt make a difference wether its combat or any other spec. If it is, pls add it here cause then there might be a bug

Thanks, now I’m gonna go test it on my Warrior friend in PvP.

Ok so tested it against my Warrior friend in PvP and hit him for over 900 back stab crit. With battle shout I was critting for 1083. I was hitting clothy npc casters for maybe 800 with might up. Something is weird.

Was Curse of Recklessness on the mob? That is a heavy armor reduction.

The high end number that you posted of close to 1400 seems about right to me if you had a perdition’s blade, that was the number i had on average on my full T2 rogue in vanilla [1700 or so at times depending on debuffs and mob type]. A CHT is going to give less numbers than that - unless there were debuffs like recklessness up etc.

No. The weapon with the higher damage range will always do more damage on instant attacks.

What buffs and debuffs did you have prior?
Are you using all of the same ones now?

For the instant attack only, not the total damage.

Yeah I’m confused as to your point. Higher damage range on weapons means higher damage on your instant attacks. I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make atm

Need to incorporate debuffs on targets also, sunder armor and the such!

Should a rolled troll to stack berserking with SnD for them slick WF machine gun procs.

Maybe that is why your dps is so bad
