man that is why i really hate the "western mentality, specially in USA, that “naked body is horrible” and violence is “ok”, that is why i love asian specially japan where they don’t give a s* toward it and make they games the way they “want and like” and give a middle finger for western most of the times when they try to “rule” they own culture and values over japan values, really peoples need to learn which not everyone hold that stupid “value” which see naked or semi naked body will turn peoples in sexual predators and objetification and bla bla bla, countless studies already where did and “none” of them even get close to say something like that which a game can turn peoples in molesters or murderes and bla bla bla but ofcourse if the peoples already is a naturally twisted ill mentally person then it could have some influence but your average joe/jane no they will keep playing and being normal respecting the rules.
a really good exemple again is japan, you have all the animes/mangas/novels with underaged peoples and even “lolis” and what happened in the country, the number of attacks toward young kids jus hard decrease instead of increase.
I really would love to western learn a little from asian specially japan and be more "respectfull toward others and stop that culture of "ruling what peoples must like. watch, love because otherwise you will be called a monster if you don’t agree.
again it’s just a game none real life being threatened, you already have a toy to make peoples running naked and i don’t see peoples going in the forum asking to this item be removed and things like that, but when someone ask to make it more simple and basic now we have the "protectors of moral or protectors of all womans in the world and bla bla bla(as if they true speak for everyone person in the world) and normally don’t bring any statistic to proof they points other than they own “opnion”.
I’m not saying which you can’t voice your opnion but remember which in the same way you don’t like it, others can like and you must respect it and we can try to find a midground in it other than insulting each others and learn which sex is one of the basic things of “life” and while many peoples had “bad moments” which it, not everyone have and not everyone things which we must not sensualize a little here and as many others told the underwear in wow is much more like a bikini other than a underwear and aslong peoples are not full naked or it really pass something which could really change the age rates then it’s really fine, just look at overwatch where you have some bikini skins for womans and some shirtyless for males, for me aslong both male and female take the same threatment ok it’s fine.

Honestly, it’s probably because of the toy that they don’t want to make everything be transmog removable, otherwise what is the purpose of the toy?
The New Armor Polish, or whatever it’s called, would still be relevant. It’s temporary, using it is free, and it can be used in places where a transmog vendor (or portable attire device) may not be available.
I don’t have the toy myself, I’ve just observed people in raids using it. I presume it doesn’t cost them anything when the timer runs out and their armor is visible again.
(More general comments regarding the “moral dilemma” of hiding pants…)
It’s wired how some guy will run his female toons around in bikini mogs but giving women the option to hide pants so we can make something like the Lovely Dress look the way it’s supposed to is somehow an insurmountable moral and ethical hurdle.
We can have “bulletproof nudity” (it’s a trope, look it up, basically skimpier armor equals more defense or at least more defense than would be realistic) but the modesty police show up in force with false equivalency arguments, pervy accusations, and ignoring any actuall valid reasing for giving us tye ability to hide pants the moment we start talking about it.
And it’s not like people can’t just strip their armor off and run around in their bikini undies and loin clothes… or am I just one of the few people who remember avoiding Stormwind and Orgrimar due to the high rate of streaking bank alts?
Seriously, thank goodness for Heirlooms and Transmog because people actually dress their bankers now.
For what it’s worth, one way or another I just want my transmogs to look right. If I wear a Lovely Dress or anything similar I don’t want my pants to ruin it by showing through and I don’t want to have to remove my pants completely to prevent that. I really don’t care how they do it, whether it’s an option to hide pants or a new cosmetic pants texture to go with such dresses and robes.
But honestly, the fact that we don’t see a plethora of nude bank alts running around like we did years ago shows that the player base is largely mature enough they’d use an option to hide pants responsibly. Are there outliers? Certainly. But people can still strip off all their armor and dance on mailboxes if they want, preventing us from hiding the pants even if we’re wearing a dress or robe isn’t going to prevent that.

I demand that we be able to hide pants. For too long, our thighs have been restricted by the tyranny of pants. Thighs should be free to kiss the air as our enemies are slain. They should be free while we gather herbs and ore. They should be free when we kill Azshara next patch.

What are the odds of hiding the skirt part of robes? I’d kill and ressurect for that, because it would open a world of vast choices especially for clothies.

Why not just let us be totally nude, apart from strategically placed leaves.

Gloves would be cool, but there are bracers mogs that are tiny gold bands and such that you can barely see available, so no need.

While I respect your opinion, where I live women fought for the right to legally Go topless. So now we can if we want on a got summer day. I rarely see women topless but I am glad I have the choice.
