Give us the option of buying 500 traders tender per month for the price of a wow token. There are a lot of great trading post things added, but never enough tender!
But why only 500?
True. Should probably be more for 20 bucks.
That’s a terrible deal.
I wish I could sell you 500 of my 20k tenders for a wow token worth of gold.
Ah yes lets add another credit swipe feature to the game
So basically “let us buy tenders with cash too,” yeah the forums would explode
Yeah they should definitely let people buy them with gold or be able to work for them infinitely through the month like, maybe every dungeon gives you a few or quest give you a couple
Something so that people who want to get everything on the trading post every month actually can play the game and be able to do it.
As per usual Blizzard is really missing out on an opportunity to get that participation number up because they always seem to choose the wrong way of doing it. Crap-like pathfinder instead of stuff like giving you tenders for doing world content or running dungeons
I don’t know what it is with this company where they can’t seem to connect the dots and figure out that people want to have fun so you reward the part of the game that is fun that’s where you hand out the the rewards… You don’t try to coerce stuff that isn’t any fun like they seem to have a pattern of doing
I mean at that point you’re really just adding more store mounts / pets, etc in a debatable corporate scheme ordeal. lol
“Sure you can earn a bit in-game – but you can earn way MORE with money!!” — Mr.Crabs, probably.
No.
You don’t need to collect everything in the game. The Traders Post is a bonus reward for playing the game each month. You aren’t meant to buy all of it the first time you see it.
It all comes back.
If you want to spend real money on in-game items, there’s already a shop with hundreds of dollars worth of products you can buy.
This particular idea is terrible.
They need to just let people farm all they want thru the month playing the game.
I tend to only buy what I think I might use rather than just a +1. I usually have plenty of left over tender each month. I also don’t have any issues with a robust cash shop. I have way more IRL money than I have IRL time so I wouldn’t be opposed to either the token idea or more farming options. It’s just cosmetics so I doubt it will break the game. Let folks obtain cosmetics how they please.
Realistically there’s a finite number of objects in the game that can go up for sale on the trading post. It would just waste dev’s time creating more junk to sell.
Have you seen those awful sarongs they offer every month in ugly clearance rack colors? It would just be more of that. And hoods and half cloaks. If you had more tenders they would just burn through more mogs and mounts.
It’s limited in trader tenders not because they don’t want you to have more tendies–it’s limited so they don’t have to waste more time developing sellable crap.
I don’t think anyone here is asking for more options though. Just the possibility of buying more of what is already available each month. You can tell folks to save for that month where you love every item but without some kind of heads up to upcoming offerings ( other than vague data mining) it’s hard to plan ahead. Wouldn’t take much dev time to add tenders to some loot tables or put up a trader for token deal on the shop.
They won’t give that option because the tender system is in place for the inevitable transition away from a mandatory sub.
Eventually all the shop items will be relocated to it and we’ll buy tender directly (or get it through one of the optional sub perks) because companies love when you buy “v-bucks” instead of just spending directly on what you want.
We have enough monetization in this game.
If anything, the subscription fee needs to be removed since we not only pay full price (the cost of a NEW game) for expansions but are subjected to cash shop exclusive items.
I get tired of being a loot pinata for CEOs.
I miss when the community backlash to the cash shop had them delay transmog items from the store for years.
I don’t blame any one person individually but I do miss when things that looked cool where just earned in game.
lmao…wut?
no one asked for more stuff to be on the TP lol…they asked to be able to get more currency
This wouldnt put a single second of more dev time needed to do anything. lol
they put what theyre gonna put on the TP and then allow players to PLAY THE GAME to earn currency to buy what IS posted each month if they want it all.
but no one is required to buy anything from the cash shop.
I rarely do.
leave the sub alone…and just ignore the shop like I do.
